[Fancy Ohtori Banner, Lawlz] Ohtori Academy is a school run by water. It exists somewhere in the forests of Casa Tiner. No one knows exactly where to find it as its first and foremost rule states: No one comes to Ohtori uninvited.
It was founded many seasons ago by an old Mistweaver by the name of Ohtori. He has since disappeared, leaving a young stallion to Chair in his place.

Ohtori's Founder A school in the middle of Casa Tiner?
Its true, many would have thought it was impossible. However, the life's ambition of the Nequus by the name of Ohtori was to create such a place. At first he simply wanted to teach young children the way of life, to educate all breeds in equality and understanding. As he grew older in years, he saw the chance for that dream begin to fade - until the mists began to call them into their core.
Ohtori found he could weave these to make a graceful art, and began to shape a landscape within Casa Tiner that would change the way it was forever. At first, Ohtori remained a simple school. The beginning mistweaver would go out into the land and find those youth and their parents who wished to learn, and even those who wished to teach. Once they entered Ohtori, they were to stay until their education was complete. Some never left, taking pride in the fact that they could teach in such a place.
For many moons Ohtori reigned supreme, gaining fame throughout the land. Hundreds of Nequus were taught there, many in the art of magic. However, no mistweavers came to succeed in the place of Ohtori himself.
The school dwindled and died, becoming lost in the eternity that all mistweavers fall to. Ohtori could no longer bear to leave his precious mist, or his precious school, and consequently no one else was able to escape either. They existed in a sense of immortality, never aging, but never quite getting anywhere. There were no field-trips to the outer world, and Ohtori ceased to be.
It saddened the surface old man, but his heart had begun to grow hollow enough that he gave no care. His own daughter, Kanae, suffered the fate of being trapped in this desolation for as long as her father remained in such a state. She could not love, and her own heart grew bitter.
Their savior came from a brilliant shining young Nequus many years after the name Ohtori had begun to fade from the outer world. He was brown coated and bore a white mane, his beauty capturing the heart of many a woman. On top of that, he was an Illusionist, and convinced Ohtori that he was an aspiring mistweaver.
Ohtori saw this man as promise, and he offered anything if only this Nequus would bring the school to its one vivacious purpose. The beautiful colt only had one request. So Ohtori crafted a magnificent dueling area out in the forest, where the mists were still untamed and only the young colt's illusions had any bearing.
Many moon cycles later the school once again flourished as promised. Pleased with the young Reya the old mistweaver gradually subsided into the deep forest, appearing now and then only to offer a darkened smile to his daughter. It is said that he became the mist itself, but it didn't matter to the chair that succeeded in his place.
For whatever reason, Ohtori went through another spell of secrecy, the people within not knowing their days went by without age or spot, and that they were never able to leave. Little knew what went on, and little cared.
An event shook the school long, long after and it opened up its doors to the world once again. Those still around were able to grow older once more. Some say it was the day that the old mistweaver died, others claim it was the fault of a breaking of the one to succeed in his place.[Divider Banner, whoo]

[Pretty Around Campus Banner - Map]
Note: All structures can be fully lit by Yellow lightflyers unique to Ohtori. They have been trained to go and come at the heavy stamp of a hoof. (Clap on!)
[Inner Campus]
Entrance Gates
Following a well-beaten path of grainy, red sand you reach the rose entrance. It is a small, thin wall that you can see through in most parts, but good luck getting through it. The 'gates' are formed of two great boughs from opposite trees, their limbs intertwining in the shape of a rose. The rest of the surrounding fence-line is made up of vines and trees of similar nature - though stunted in growth. The trees themselves are a pale white, with only the tips of the first trees tipped in a golden hue.
Access: All
Chairman's Tower
The first thing seen on entrance of Ohtori's inner campus is this looming world of stone. Rising far above everything else, the rock appears as though it could touch the sky. It may indeed, no one ever goes up the winding pathways to learn. The bottom is carved full of holes that lead through the full interior. Here you will find the presiding office for all those wishing to attend. This is also the home of all the teachers wishing to stay, including the current chairman. If you think its dark, have no fear, green phosphorescent 'lightflyers' line the pathways at all hours of the night so you may find your step.
Access: Bottom Floor - All; Middle Floors - Staff; Upper Levels - Chairman
Main Hall
It is the second tallest building in Ohtori, and surrounds the tower on all sides but the front. These three sides are the North, West, and East wings. Whether or not they actually point in said directions is moute. In Ohtori everything centers around the entrance gates, which lead indefinitely to the chairman's tower. The structure itself is 10 levels high, but still dwarfed by the friendly presider. Its general makeup is stone, though trees are known to intermingle and divide up classrooms. The upper levels of the West Wing house are home to the male upperclassmen. In contrast, the upper levels of the East wing are made up of the female upperclassmen. They do not share dorms like the rest of the populace. The lower levels and the majority of the North wing are for course studies. The Main Hall is the only structure with roof access, and it is the perfect place for flight lessons.
Access: All; Upper East/West Wings - Upperclassmen
Council Grounds
Perhaps the most unusual thing on Ohtori because it is completely normal. It is simply a natural stone arc that connects to a large hunk rock - likely the result of old lava eruptions and successive erosion. A few trees grow there, providing shade to the members of the council and slight protection from rain. The stone arc can be walked across from the roof of the North Wing of the Main Hall, though most members find it more desirable to fly.
Access: Student Council
Outer Classess
In comparison to the prior mentioned, these are dull, mundane places. They reach no higher than three stories, and all single level buildings are made entirely of trees. The two story buildings are done in the same fashion, though they physically extend underground. Lastly, the tall, three story ones are a mixed mush of these two types. Their base is made of clay, and on that rests the ever-winding trees. Like all of the school it is lit by green-glowing lightflyers at all times.
Courtyard
Ah, games, the fuel for any growing soul. The Courtyard is a giant area of grass, dirt, sand, water, and several other things. It houses a large area of water made especially for those who want to take a dip on those sweltering summer days. Out here you can follow typical Nequus' games or make up your own, it doesn't matter. Keep in mind, however, you might want to clear out of the way when an official match is going on as its also the official location for sparring tournaments. These are held seasonly, and any Nequus may enter as a team or an individual. If that's the case, you may want to enlist the schooling help of some more experienced members.
Access: All
Rose Garden
This small plot of land exists near the North Wing where the courtyard begins to intermingle with the stone building. Small trees line its surface, letting only the 'perfect' amount of sun in. There a huge array of red roses are kept. A few other colors may be seen here and there, the rarest being the white. The roses themselves are obviously very cared for - or once were.
Access: All
[The Forbidden Forest]
The Trees
Ground among the forbidden forest is a near impossibility to walk on. One must fight and tear their way through the intertwining trees and overgrown weeds. It becomes easy to get lost in the their midst, especially since it seems to change. It is the heart of the school, and within in beats many secrets, which is why it is so untamed. There exists but one faded path in this world. The Student Council knows how to find it, but it would be in your best entrance not to try and find it.
Casa Tiner's legendary blue trees are not the most astounding feature of this place. Tucked deep away, seemingly randomly placed, it is said that each student has a copy of their tree placed within Casa Tiner. Every single mark made to these is repeated in Shrilal, and visa versa. It is a strange occurrence, to say the least. What it means is a mystery to even Ohtori himself. Its up to you to decide the truth.
Access: Rose Crest Bearers Only
Land of Water
In the dark woods, the roar of water is likely to reach your ears. The mist, it seems, was created not by some magic but the mere crash of water against the earth. Jutting out from the earth behind the school are the towering bluish hues of Casa Tiner's cliffs. From their sides water spirals down in heaves, slamming into anything it can reach below. It creates rivers, random lakes and pools. Its most noticeable location, however, is its flow over a stone bridge.
Access: Rose Crest Bearers Only
Stone Entrance
An arching stone slab splits from the ground and makes its way midair to a wall of cascading water. In its highest point, just before it falls spell to the raging liquid, a rose crest symbol is engraved into the stone itself. If you've managed to get this far, don't expect to venture farther. The water would be deadly to pass through.
Access: Rose Crest Bearers Only
Dueling Arena
Leaving the broken waterfall behind you, its time to do the impossible, climb up Casa Tiner. The way has been forged for you in the shape of an upside down hoofprint. The cave extends deep, and it is in a state of constant rising. Many paths march off from the entrance, but if you hold true, it eventually opens to the crystal air once more. Here is where the dueling arena lays. It is slightly dusty, a scar given to it by many hooves. Massive tree lines its outside, making it clear that the arena has been here quite some time. Missed blows scar the surface of many of these giants, and a few have fallen, hanging over the precipice edge that leads back into the misty world below.
In the sky exists an upside down world of prosperity. It changes from person to person, seemingly shaping to the deepest wish of the beholder. What will it look to you?
Access: Rose Crest Bearers Only
[Outer Campus]
Dorms
There are two types of dorms: Temporary, and Final. Temporary dorms are made up of simple trees, and are very small in nature. Final dorms are far larger and are made for two people - save for Upperclassman's. Each dorm comes equipped with soft moss to sleep on. This bedding is changed every few sunrises. Also included is a basin of ever-running water and a full set of human-created bowls with which to scoop it out. Why not just drink from the stone water container? Well, some people like their tea. Which is why - though unseen anywhere but Ohtori - hanging from the ceilings of all dorms is a wide array of plants from which to make tea. To heat it up you may stride over to your warm-plate counter and and ask it to heat it for you. Strange? This is Casa Tiner. Hardly. When you're done making a mess tea, you may place the contents on a tall stone slab that serves as a table.

Fountains
Ohtori is known, if for nothing else, for its intricate stonework and its uses with water. There's nothing quite like the great pools of water only a few inches deep, and the erupting fountains to place this image into another's mind. Rock and dirt path encompass this great adventure maze. Its a great place to go and war during the heat of the summer, though don't let the teachers catch you! Small trees and flowers are scattered here and there to give more of an earthy ambiance, but you better retreat to the outlying grasslands if you'd like to take a rest, the fountains are often travelled over, though access is restricted to only upperclassmen at night.
Access: All
Campus Grasslands
The sloping hills that surround Ohtori are full of lush grass. Lunch breaks, and these are full of Nequus playing, quizzing one another, or just enjoying a nice meal. Trees dot its premises, making it the perfect place for a rest in the shade. If you don't hang around here, you're missing out!
Access: All
Woodfront
The trees in Ohtori become thicker here, and most do not venture very far in. Most trees bear carved confessions of love, and some have been beaten on for the fun of it. The smart do not venture far in, though running about the thinner area is much loved by the youth.
Access: All; Inner: Upperclassmen
Ocean
The Ocean can be accessed by means of the woodfront. It lays down a path and far to the back of the forest. There are no striking sand beaches as Quirne displays. Instead, it boasts smooth rocks and grassy sands. Field trips often frequent here as it is the most diverse place within the Ohtori grounds.
Access: Upperclassmen
