My girlfriend and I have a pretty good relationship, yeah? Yeah...
I know she would never cheat on me or anything.
But the other day, she told me that she had a crush on one of my best friends. And it still lingers to this day. I feel really hurt. Like, I don't feel entirely number one or something. Am I just being silly or is it reasonable I feel like this? I know jealousy is never a good thing, but I can't help it. I feel really, really terrible.
For a fact, I know the friend my girlfriend's crushing on likes her back. But since she's asexual, they'd never be in a relationship.
...Is it also sickening I'm glad about that? sweatdrop
I told another one of my friends about this, who told me that it's not fair that she brought up the crush with me. It's not like I tell her I'm crushing on people (I don't, I love her) but then again it's like she's sharing something secret and special with me. I don't know how to really take it.
Sorry for it being long, I just feel upset and I love the people in this guild so I figured I'd take it here. crying
Thanks to all responses... heart

I would suggest that you both think over what you expect from her, and then talk it over with her. It sounds to me like she's being pretty open to you - something that I'd argue is a good thing. Would you prefer it if she still felt that way, but never told you? And would she prefer it?
Sit down and talk to her about it. Ask her how serious her crush is, tell her how you feel about and that you feel jealous...that's not unnatural for you to feel this way. However, she can't help her crush and there's nothing for her to about it other than be honest with you.
In other words...sit down and talk it over with her. Good luck!
