Yuuma sat perched on top of the tower, his sketchbook in hand. He took a deep breath as he drug a smooth pencil across the paper, making an arc for the skyline. this is truly a beautiful place, too bad it's ruled by that sadistic old man. if you ask me, he isnt as amazing as everyone believes, he's just scared. Scared of the only thing that is certain in this life. he begins to work on the details of some of the buildings in the city off in the distance. this beauty is wasted

Mari climbed up onto the roof of Oto Tower and froze upon seeing a strange man wearing an Akatsuki cloak. She hadn't expected to find anyone up there. At least it wasn't another ANBU. The Oto ANBU were infamously nasty. She crept closer to see what he was doing. She smiled, seeing the drawing.
"Hey, that's pretty good. Your drawing, I mean. I like it."

Yuuma didnt look up from his drawing, he just spoke quietly to the girl. "you would do well to remember not to talk to strangers. you could get hurt." He worked his way from the Club to Orochimaru's Castle this is where it gets good.

"Really? Thanks for the advice. I'll keep that in mind," she said with a straight face, moving in closer to him. "You aren't here just to doodle the village, are you? Come to negotiate with Orochimaru, hmm? You know he can't be bargained with." She glanced down at her hands and wiped them on her pants to get some of the blood off.

He stood and approached the girl, standing a few inches away he looked down into her eyes. "that wouldnt happen to be your blood would it?" he placed his finger on her shoulder and whiped it up to the base of her neck, collecting blood. "yup, this is most definatly ANBU obtained. now, why would such a pristine young girl do somthing like that." he spoke somewhat amused. "and try to remember, if the ANBU come for you, i will not help."

Mari smiled, her eyes narrowed a bit. "Good guess. All I wanted was a little souvenir to remember this wretched hellhole by. I tried talking with them, but they just weren't having any of that. I really hate it when people ignore me. They even had the nerve to tell me to get out."
She shrugged. "If you don't want to help, that's fair enough. But in the unlikely event that I get caught, I might tell them I was working with you. Here's the deal. I need to get my happy a** out of town. You want to keep Akatsuki in good standing with Orochimaru. I'm coming with you, got it?"
The fact that the man had neither tried to attack her nor fled indicated to her that he might be willing to listen. She had hesitated to kill at first, but it got easier and even a little fun the more she killed. At this point, there would be no hesitation whatsoever. She only wondered what kind of challenge this one had to offer, should he refuse.

Yuuma didnt even think about it, he just smiled "what do you know about the Akatsuki? You couldnt handle it even if we went easy on you." he walks past her heading to the other end of the tower "and i Dare you to try and persuade me." he turned back to her, now drawing on a new page of his paper.

"What would you have me do to prove myself? Kill you and wait for someone to come here to retrieve your ring? I'm sure they'd be happy to replace you with someone more powerful. But that wouldn't be half as productive as if I simply joined. World domination can be hard when you're low on membership."
Her arms were crossed and she was looking at him sideways. "Why don't you just take me with you and have your leader decide. He has the final say, after all."

"yes, he has the final say, but in our organization, if you bring someone in then it is your job to watch them. And i need to know that you are worth my time, and killing a few sound ANBU doenst make you anything special." He continued to look down at his paper i hope this is worth my time. he pulled his pencil off the surface of the paper "You dont have the option of running away anymore" A large scorpion began to peel itself off the page, it was about six feet long including tail and about three feet tall.  it crawled over twards her and stabbed sharply at her chest using his tail. "It really is lucky you came by. I'll humor you for a bit." With a touch to her wrists, the blades extended, air chakra swirling around them. She lunged forward, blades crossed, and slashed downwards at the scorpion drawing. Pulling up her sleeves to reveal her air vents, she built up pressure in both arms and expelled a spherical projectile of wind and chakra.

Yuuma sighed "so, you're going to show your weakness as soon as you start?" in a blur he took out a piece of rice paper and quickly drew what looked like binds around her arms through the picture, this only taking a fraction of a second, she would find that her arms and her airvents would be sealed and bound, preventing her from attacking "if you use your vents you die. if you dont defend yourself, then you will die."

"Oh, a challenge. How fun!"
Mari took a few steps backward toward the edge of the roof. She focused chakra into her feet and stomped down hard. The stone walls quickly began to twist upwards to trap Yuuma. With much effort, she twisted her wrists and her body enough for her to slice through the bindings. Her arms, now free, were lacerated and the vents remained sealed. She decided to deal with that later.

heh, i think im starting to like this girl he unbuttoned the top layer of his cloak and let it drop reveiling his chest. with his paintbrush he cut his arm dropping blood into his ink well, he dipped his brush into the well and began to draw muscles and wings on himself, His body began to change, and his muscles became more dence, wings sprouted from his back, he burst through the wall and walked out to face the girl. "honestly? please tell me you arent reverting to defence just yet. it was fun when you were attacking."

Mari rolled her eyes at him. "Are you trying to impress me? Whatever, man." She shook her head slowly, glancing over at the castle. "Just how annoyed do you suppose he'll be when he sees this?"
She slammed both palms to the ground and the remains of the uppermost floor and the roof became mud. Some of it flowed down the side of the tower. Just to spite him, she went on the defensive again. She let herself sink into the mud, completely concealing herself.
