This is the marketplace of the Hidden Grass Village. The marketplace is unique because it is not centered in the village, rather, it surrounds the the inner village. This is useful because that means travelers and passers by won't have to enter the Hidden Village to get to the marketplace. Practically everything can be found here, from weapons, to trinkets.

The Head of the Jumon Clan strolled liesurely through the Marketplace, occasionally pausing to examine the wares being sold, stopping to chat with various traders, and inquiring about various people and families outsude the borders of Kusa, which her family had met perhaps several years ago, perhaps longer in the past, and kept in touch with. It formed a rather effective information network, and often she would visit the Market to talk to her contacts among the traders, who came great distances to participate in the massive congregation of merchants and craftsmen and entertainers. Speaking of entertainers, Masami paused again as she passed a pair of Jumon, nodding approvingly at them as they performed a duet to attract an audience. This was a second way for her to collect the tidbits she fit together to keep well informed, and she was pleased that her system had worked well so far. She continued on her way, passing out of the Marketplace, and into the Village proper. ((exit))

Jumon Masami walked through the midday throng of the Marketplace, easily blending with the crowd, unlike earlier in the day, when she had made sure to exude confidence, arrogance, and surety of her status. Now, she was 'just another person' moving through the market, occasionally pausing to glance at the wares and foods at various stalls, but determinedly moving onwards, as she headed to her 'appointment'.((exit))

Kujira entered the market place glancing at the shops "Quite a bit of potential here. Looks like this place hasn't changed too much, so the center shouldn't be too far." he paused for a moment when something caught his interest. "Why didn't i think about using those damnable things before? wait thats right" He twitched slightly and continued through the market place agitated. A puppet that was hanging on a hook would fall to the ground the string holding it up broken.

The Hunter strode into the Marketplace, ignoring the strange pair of Genin age. Busking? Strange. Not important to the mission. Academy student-age Jumon, who watched her pass with rapidly-paling skin and eyes that seemed ready to pop out of their sockets.
The Hunter waded through the chaos that had been left by a single stall-owner screaming that a puppet, of all things, had come to life.

One of the singing pair, both of whom had been silent for a few moments, looked at the other, eyes wide, face regaining color. Her eyes shone with resolve and excitement and she opened her mouth, her partner shielding her from the idle gaze of passerby as she gave her report at a pitch very few could ever hear. Once they had finished, they gathered their things and set off in the direction of the stranger.
