Why is it Richter (spelling?) and not John Morris? I mean seriously, he is really good to play as and all that, but he is not even mentioned once in the game! except for the time that you battle him, but he couldnt be the last person too wield the whip, Johnathan's father was, so would that make Richter Johnathan's father?

You'd have to ask IGA that same question. Though I'm not sure if someone already has on an interview or whatever. Of course that Richter is only related to the Morrises but nobody still has told exactly how. At least that's not told in any game I've played anyway...
But really, why not ask something along the lines of: "Why isn't Eric a playable chara ter like the sisters? Instead of the lame axe armor they could have had him and the game would have been so much cooler. I can accept Richter cuz he and Maria are cool but, why the axe armor? It makes no sense to me whatsoever! Then again, if instead of Richter and Maria they could have made Alucard and another character, well... THEN it would be understandable. 3nodding

Apparently to use the Vampire Whips true power you must defeat the memory of the last Belmont to wield it, and that happened to be Richiter. That is why we did not face John.

Well... for axe armor I remember hearing somewhere that konomi did a poll to chose a bonus charecter, the winner happened to be old axe armor...

I bet they only ran that poll in Japan cuz I never knew about it. Not that it would have mattered anyway. I bet the other choices weren't that great anyhow! rolleyes

Yeah, Richter is cool. Personally though, Trevor has been a favorite of mine since I played the third game on the NES. 3nodding
