There is a short but wide hallway, hung on both sides by portraits and paintings, all old and beautiful, depicting any number of subjects, but mostly what look like historic scenes from the Upper World history. Above the paintings are stained-glass windows, which hold no particular form in themselves... However, at a certain time of the day, light will reflect off the glass just right, causing lines of light to be cast on the floor, making a kind of connect-the-dots path to different pictures... When you visit the pictures in this order, you can see a continuous story unfold through the works of art... even though most of them are all by different artists...

Baiyu entered and wandered over to them. "Yeah, Ren. You never tell the stories behind your paintings, so why should Luca tell you the stories behind his collections?"
Ren glared at him slightly and wandered around, studying the paintings intensively.

Luca watched her the whole time. He wandered over to Baiyu. "I wonder if she'll be able to figure it out... It took me awhile before I did so..."

Baiyu raised his eyebrow and stared at Luca. "Personal or historical?"

Baiyu's eye twitched in annoyance. "Liar!" He whispered and ran over to Ren. He jumped up and half glomped her. Ren swore loudly, but didn't hit him. They continued on looking together

He laughed and watched the two. Lady sidled beside him. "Think those two will get it?" Luca nodded. "Undoubtedly. Give it time."

Ren sat down in the middle of that hall and watched Baiyu study the rest of the paintings. He went and laid down beside her. "Get it?" He asked her. She smiled and looked over at Luca and the Lady.
