Okay, let's get some conversation going! Tell me, what are your favorite spiritual places to go? There is, obviously, no right or wrong answer, but try to think of somewhere other than your room, for example.

So, I'll start.

My favorite spiritual place to go here in Georgia is called the Georgia Guidestones. It is a replica of Stonehenge and sits in the middle of farm here where anyone can come and visit. We often have open circles there and it is wonderful; full of positive energy.

Now, enlighten me with your favorite places!

Well, there's no "official" spiritual place here in Alaska, but I have definitly encountered a few un-official places. There is one place a few miles from where I live. It's a small clearing in the middle of the forest, where there's this really old tree(I think it's really old...it certaintly seems so.) that has lots of moss and mushrooms on it. I like going there in the summer the best because it's so hard to get there in the winter.

At my college, there's this little grove-like stand of about five trees that were all planted close together for some reason. Going in between the trees (the space between them is just the right size for me to sit in there) when it's sunny and warm out gives me the feeling of being secluded from the world, even though the trees are right by one of the main paths at school. So, even though it's not something like a church/temple/etc., I feel like it's spiritual because it helps me feel closer to the earth and everything on it, and it totally relaxes me....Okay, I'm done now. whee

my favoret place is a creek in Hungry Mother Park in Saltville. I only get to go there once a year but every time I am there i feel so calm and at peace that i feel like i have to grab a root or a rock to keep from floating away.

my favorite place to go is a little area right outside of a park about an hour away from here. about half a mile away from the park there's a stream with rocks jutting out and little water falls and there's a huge tree with it's roots growing on top of a rock so you can see them all but the little bit that's in the ground. there's a small cave beside it too. it's calm and it helps me think and meditate.

I haven't been to alot of incredibly spiritual places, but I still have a favorite. It's not one place per say, more like a situation. I love sitting up in a big tree, with the leaves surrounding me and forming what seems like a bubble of protection. It makes me feel so safe and welcome. I especially love it when I can really get into communing with the tree, then it's like pure bliss ^_^
