Ive read that mario cart wii is going to have wifi. But to what extent? is it just like wifi leader boards or is there going to wifi races and battles?

Awesome, I hope they have added a bunch of new battle mode stuff. I though mariokart64 had better battle levels. the ones in double dash felt way too small.
And Im glad they are going to have rankings. From what I heard with brawl it sounded like nintendo was trying to head in the direction of completely anonomous online games. (aka no usernames, no chat, no rankings, and almost no way to tell online players appart from computers.) Atleast mario kart looks like they might be rethinking there initial online policy.
