Corpernius is actually the moon that was partly turned into colonized city by the UEA. The Lunar City is mostly famous due to the fact that the UEA training facility is located in side the city. Copernicus is one of the colonies that is inhabited by those who were injected with the Genesis serum. The colony serves as a neutral some colony. People who were not subjected to the serum also live in the colony but they live in peace with those who ere injected with it. Like all cities Corpernicus had hotels, theaters, malls, parks and a harbor.

Shion grew tired of waiting for the Copernicus's Commander to allow his depart to Earth. To kill some time, he went to the city, so he can relax for a while. "Damn those bastards! They don't let my ship to leave this rat-hole..." He knew that his ship is under manteinance, but he also knew that the vital systems that makes the Avalon function are still intact. "In Akihabara can repair that secondary bridge. I don't knoew why they don't understand"

After a long time of waiting, a UEA grunt from the base came to tell Shion that the ship's repairments were done, and that he can go to Earth, as planned. "Finally!"-He though. Following the soldier, he went to his ship and told his crew that they must prepare the ship for departure. When they asked where they were going, Shion smiled and said-"Home. We are going to home"
