In our game, he uses the Multi-Bottle Rocket 5. He can launch four mini-rockets and one mega-rocket.

Earthbound did need an assist trophy, and he looks cool enough (actually, he's geeky, but his move is good).

He may look geeky but he's pretty awesome on Mother 2, and his assist trophy is really cool.
