Cartwright appears on the titantron to loud boos.
"I.....I have had enough of this place. I really have." He says, looking emotional.
"First, I was accused of faking my letter that announced I was a GM with Marxx and Codi. THAT IS A DAMN LIE!" Cartwright says defiantly.
"Then, some punk nobody called Christian Cage humilates me by attacking me in my match with Codi Paige and humiliating me by having her defeat me in a match." Cartwright continues.
"I don't have to put up with this. Need I remind everyone here that I am the GREATEST wrestler in GZW History? It's first and longest reigning World Champion? YOU SHOULD RESPECT ME! I AM GZW!" He says to boos.
"You know what? Screw you guys. I'm out of here and I am NEVER coming back."

Suddenly a voice cried out!
"Hey! What?! Hey!! No! Hold on! Wait! Hold on!! Wait!!"
Sounds of huffing were heard and soon Fox jetted out from backstage, down the ramp, and tripped halfway down the ramp! He slid down the rest of the way down on his front and got back up dusted himself off, acting as if that didn't happen. Quickly rolling into the ring, The Fox shouted in the microphone..
"What do you mean you're never coming back?!! You can't quit on me!"

"You're too late Fox, my mind is made up. If you were really that bothered you'd have done something about this way earlier." Cartwright notes.

His mind racing of what he can say or do to keep Cartwright from leaving and the fear that was stabbing him, was drawing up some very desperate ideas! Fox could barely keep his voice from trembling! Cartwright was one of his best draws!
"L-listen!"
Fox quickly cleared his throat, licked his lips and spoke again..
"Listen, listen, listen.. Cartwright.. uh.. how about we talk this over in my office? Negotiate a contract deal.. um.. I'll even return as General Manager, removing Codi Paige and Marxx from that position!
What do you say?!"
Smiling slightly, giving off a fake expectant smile, as if Cartwright would agree.

Before Cartwright would give his answer, Christian Cage's music would hit the arena! The instrumental of My Last Breath played briefly, as Christian headed out onto the stage. The 'tron above him, Fox in the ring, Christian was going to give his two cents on Cartwright's retirement.
" Just a couple things, Cartwright .. "
Christian paced off to the side for a second.
" First off .. I understand that you're probably feeling down in the dumps right now after taking that loss to Codi Paige. But look at it this way, no one really expected you to win the match in the first place. And second ..
This punk nobody named Christian Cage isn't a nobody after all, is he? After all .. I'm only repeating what you said about me. And this only adds to the number of accomplishments I've got already. So not only am I Captain Charisma .. The Instant Classic .. but now I'm also the nobody that's RESPONSIBLE .. for retiring, pacifying the baby known as Cartwright. It's not your place to tell these fans, especially MY PEEPS .. where their respect should lie.
Fox, turn your crap off. If Cartwright wants to leave, sure, let him leave. Just wish him luck on his future endeavors. Besides, if it's meant to be, fate will bring you two back together again, right?
As for me .. the main reason why I'm out here tonight is to give you a proper send-off, Cartwright.
Na na na na ..
Na NA NA NA ..
HEY HEY HEY .. GOODBYE. "
The crowd would begin to follow in unison, all of them wishing Cartwright good luck in his future endeavors!

Fox grimaced at the sound of Christian Cage's music, he knew at that moment, that nothing good was to come of this! He held his head, as if in pain, as Christian berated Cartwright and sent the crowd singing him off!
After Cartwright had stormed away and the 'tron went blank, Fox lifted the microphone.
"Christian...."
He shook his head..
".. expect next week your worst nightmare!"

Cage just watched Cartwright stomp off in a huff and he just laughed .. looking out to Fox with an innocent shrug! However, things quieted down when Fox went to speak again, and this was something interesting to hear. Christian raised his microphone at this point.
" You see, I've noticed that that's your problem, Fox. For ONE superstar, you're willing to come to his house, wash his windows and pleasure his dog just to keep him here.
On second thought, that's a bit harsh. Maybe you don't do windows. "
Pause here for comedic reaction.
" And instead of wanting to make the best of a bad situation, you screw over everyone else just to save one guy from leaving the roster. While normally I don't give a damn about what kinds of matches you put me in, or stipulations you throw at me, it's your decision-making that'll screw over the rest of the guys in the back, along with these fans.
Next week, you can bet that The Instant Classic's gonna come to this arena ready. Next week, you can also bet that you'll be in for disappointment. And while next week is next week, it goes like this .. in the long run, you keep telling yourself that you're the best damn boss that ever walked the face of this earth, and maybe someone'll believe you. But I guarantee, it's not going to be a member of this roster. We're professionals.
And at the very least, the boss should grow some balls, and be one too.
If you don't know .. now you know. "
Cage's music hit a second time as he dropped the microphone to the steel below, leveling an equal glare at Fox before backing off to the backstage area, needing to prepare for his match against Marxx.
