This RP is set up to be the dark ages on another world. This imaginary world is yet to be named and as of yet has four distinct kingdoms. In fact making more is up to you. In this RP I would like for you to PM me your ideas for kingdoms or distinctive features for this planet. Including ideas for the planet' name. Remember, people, this is YOUR planet. YOU make it. Do what you want. Start an empire, a kingdom, a town, whatever you will shall be done. Just remember to PM me first to get the okay.
This is a list--along with a brief description--of each empire/kingdom/city/town:
CITIES/VILLAGES/KEEPS:
Hangvald Keep-A small keep situated on the edge of a cliff overlooking the ocean. Currently under jurisdiction of Lord Olfite.
Hangvald City-The city surrounding Hangvald Keep.
Woquin City-A small city situated within Alcon Forest. One of the rebel cities. An enemy of the Jurud Empire.
Tamara City-Sister city to Woquin. Also situated within Alcon Forest. Remains neutral so far.
Noradz- A walled city with both entry and exit strictly forbidden. Although it has splendid food and scrubbed clean daily, it is home to bizarre rituals and strict laws that often result in death if broken. It is ruled by the Zkek'sii, nine priests rumored to be immortal.
Jurud City-The capital city of the Jurud Empire. Home to the palace of Emperor Zetinde.
AREAS/LANDMARKS:
Alcon Forest-Home to Woquin and Tamara.
Jalia- An area near to the sea, known for its trade, fresh fish and naval prowess. It is also home to bloodthirsty pirates, however, pirates are now few in number due to both Jalia's superior naval forces and the Razik, a massive flesh-eating beast that sinks any ship it finds.
Remember to send in your ideas via PM.

Unfortunately, his last official target was a witch, who placed a curse on him as she laid dying: she cursed his body to slowly rise in temperature, and would keep getting hotter and hotter until he would eventually combust. With the curse already in effect, he turned to a notorious witch-doctor who implanted metal needles into his skull to vent off excess heat. While effective, it only succeeded in slowing the curse. Desperate, he used black magic to transmute his blood into a liquid colder than the River of Death itself, turning his skin pale, his hair white, and his eyes blue. Though her parents died when she was young, she being the only heir received the throne. She does not speak of their death and many people do not know the complete truth of what happened. It seems her memories had traumatized her into a somewhat numb state. Though her kindness a large heart still prevailed. Still, she rarely speaks and when she does, her words are of great importance. Username: VampiricGypsy92 Name: Des Tear Age: 200, looks 15 though Gender: Female Race: Tundra dragon shape shifter Appearance: (Human form) Weapons: Two elemental swords that can change to anything, she wishes them to be and can come alive when she can die. She had been sick throughout Jade's life as a child, and she had lost most of her childhood due to this. She had started working in the town when she was young, helping serve meals in various shops, cleaning, and doing whatever she could to make a living. Her father on the other hand had never done much for her but regret having a child. She had been unplanned, and he had constantly reminded her of this. The only thing he wanted her for was to marry her to someone wealthy so he could have the money. He had set up an arranged marriage to a man whom she had never met. She had thought this absurd, and refused it as soon as the idea was set before her. While working at a small diner, she became close to a man, Astrid, who was a regular customer there, and it wasn't long before she finally felt complete. That was soon taken from her however, as her father still insisted she married the man he liked. Her father had Astrid killed before her very eyes, and she had run away, ending up in this small town for now, but she was still wandering. Remember to send in your character profiles so that I can put them up.

Des awoke to the shouts of Thorn and Frost bickering, "Gentlemen, I got in about an hour ago. Shut up before I knock you both out". "Ok, Des. We shall stop for now", Frost said.
She got up a few hours later, well rested and ready to venture out of her home. She dressed to go out and put Frost onto her back in his holder, Thorn grinned as he got to be her traveling companion. She went above ground and looked at Thorn. He nodded and turned into his sword form, she picked up it and teliported near a keep.
She rolled her shoulders as Thorn took human form again. Together they headed into the place, looking for supplies and offers.

Such grandee was not expected. To say the least it was scorned. Maids fluttered about her room, making the bed and then turning it down for her to sleep. Ha! Like she would even dare risk the artificial warmth of a blanket. The heavy oak door opened once again and how it had become a growing pain. “Milady? I’ve brought you the breakfast thou desired though the cooks highly doubt it could sustain one till lunch. Tis mere fruits and bread.” The innocent and clearly sheltered girl stared back at Serenity with an expectant gaze as if a mere word would ease her obvious discomfort. Finding one last bit of sanity within her violated personal bubble she smiled kindly. “For my kind it is.” Taking the tray gently from the maid, she set it on one wooden table where it would lay untouched as all the others had. “Thank you that will be all.” The elf turned with the strained smile as weak as it may be. “But…I was told to help you dress.” Her gaze dropped to the floor. “That’s quite alright, a normal person can dress themselves I don’t see why I can’t handle it.” Raising a brow she gestured for the girl to leave, slightly harsher than she had originally wanted too. As the girl left she walked briskly to the door turning the bolt. This is why in her own household the maids merely helped with sustaining the palace and not her.
White linen hugged her petite form, a blue sash defining an empire waist. Her midnight gaze drifted to her reflection. Her pale skin was nearly the same color as the dress, her long black curls startling against such a bright setting. Fingering the small pendant at her neck she drifted over to the window. The sunshine brightly warmed her skin only slightly though, the feeling never sunk deep enough to that of her soul. Shaking off such dismal thoughts, she took a few pearl-ended hairpins and slipped them through ropes of plaited locks, making an intricate but simple messy bun on the crown of her head. Spinning with satisfaction, Serenity grabbed the deep blue cloak that was hung neatly in the wardrobe, the silver crest of her lost family embossed on the breast of the fabric. As she pulled the dead bolt across and entered the brightly lit corridor, a soft sigh escaped her lips. After being held up in her room it seemed refreshing to find new air about her. The guards bowed to her and she bent her head in respect. As her bare feet padded across the marble, cold floor she tied the ribbon of the cloak across her exposed collar bone. Several people of the court turned and stared as they walked abut the gardens though she merely nodded her head and continued her touch with nature. The forest near the castle wall caught her interest. Ever since her arrival she had longed to explore. Clutching her cloak closer she stepped through a back gate and wandered about the towering giants of the plant world.

Jade stepped into the village, impatiently brushing a strand of chestnut hair back from her eyes. Her green eyes scanned the small shops before her, unsure of where she was going. She sighed lightly, zipping the small locket charm on the chain around her neck. Entering a small diner, she sat down at one of the wooden tables, taking a menu and glancing over the lunches to be served. She ordered a cup of soup and some water, watching out the window as she waited for the meal to arrive. The village was small, but cheery, people bustling around to complete their everyday work. She felt almost drawn back from everyone where she sat, as though watching life through the window. A crash from the kitchen made her jump slightly, but she couldn't see what had happened. The door was on the far side of the restaurant. "I suppose I shall find work when I can," she murmured softly, opening the locket and looking at the person's face inside. She smiled, then snapped it shut as her food arrived, raising the silver spoon to her lips and sipping it delicately. Once finished, she paid and left a tip for her waiter, then headed outside to look for somewhere she could work in exchange for board that evening.

Torin stumbled into the small village in a daze, having been awake for nearly three straight days. His eyes blood-shot, he rubbed at them furiously, and swooned, nearly falling over. This brought him many stares, and he shook them off, steeling himself for the thugs that, as in most places, hang out at the tavern. He gently opened the door and strode through, catching many curious glances from the commoners, who had likely never seen anyone dressed as splendidly as the son of a lord. Making his way over to the tavern's barkeep, Torin asks, "How much for a couple of days?"
"Judgin' by the look o' ye'... Ye'll not have the three coppers, likely ye've only gold. As such, if you gimme one gold, it'll pay for your stay and all food and drink durin' your stay."
"Done," Torin says sliding the man a coin, "Before I go up to my room," Torin adds, taking the key, "I'll have a glass of red wine, and a bowl of noodles and chicken."

The only thing that could be distinguished within the shade of the hood were tiny pinpoints of light, most likely because of a series of piercings. From the slit going down the front of the cloak, it could be seen that he was clad simply in a black top and tan pants, and black boots periodically extended and withdrew from the cloak with each stride he took. What little skin that could be seen within the cloak was deathly pale, white to the point of nearing albinism. Despite the massive areas of shade that the forest canopy provided, the man seemed to avoid every sliver of sunlight he could, as if even the cloak wasn't enough to shield him from light. The man was completely silent as he walked, and constantly looked about the woods as if searching for something. As he walked aimlessly amongst the trees and various flora of the woods, a small flock of birds flew into his path. While numerous birds kept clead of him, one curious bird flew in front of him and perched itself on his shoulder. As it touched his cloaked shoulder, the bird let out a loud shriek and immediately flew away, two tiny splotches of blood now where the birds feet once rested. As the squaking bird flew away in fright, the man simply watched without a word or gesture. Continuing on his way as if nothing had happened, he spotted someone far away through an opening in the trees: a raven-haired girl shrouded in a navy-blue cloak strolling peacefully amongst the trees. Tilting his head to the side seemingly in a gesture of curiosity, he took care to silently follow the girl at a distance, wishing to see just what the girl would do.

Spanning most of the clearing, its soft sandy shores were lapped by the gentle ripples of liquid. Dropping down onto the earth she spread her arms outwards, grabbing at the ground beneath her inquisitive fingers she made rows in the dirt as if a farmer preparing to plant. A soft sigh left her pale lips petitioning the sky to release the sun but to no avail. The current puff of water vapor still held its stance across the ball of fire. “Hmph.” Serenity threw a bit of the particles in her hand upwards as if spitting in the sky’s face. “Just my luck.” She spoke quietly before rolling onto her side and picking at the withering blades of grass. The shadows of the trees floated around her in false security, and the darkness leeched off of its newfound freedom. Then the prickle of another’s presence pulled at her mind. Furrowing her brow she let her gaze slide closed as she searched once again. The same feeling washed across her senses and with silent alarm she pulled herself off the ground. Had he come back? Was it him? A familiar terror ripped through her chest. Biting her lip she moved behind the rough bark of the tree, her back meeting the living surface. Serenity clutched her cloak once again and began breathing with shallow breaths. “Who are you?” The soft whisper of words left her lips with great caution.

Serenity clutched her cloak once again and began breathing with shallow breaths. “Who are you?” The soft whisper of words left her lips with great caution.
The man had continued to watch the girl dance about in the sunlight, finding it somewhat comforting to see another so happy. It was in the sunlight that he was able to see the girls ears, causing him to instantly recongnize her as being of elven lineage. Curiosity at his peak, he kept himself hidden behind a large oak tree as the girl come to the lake shore. Watching as she threw a handful of sand to the sky, he couldn't help but smile inwardly, emotion not visible on his shaded face. When he saw her suddenly stop, he was initally surprised. When he saw her go behind a tree, he had the urge to step out and follow, but restrained himself. Upon hearing her silent voice inquire of an identity, it took him a moment to realize that she had indeed felt his presence. He slowly stepped out onto the lake shore, the sound of sand crunching underneath his boots an odd sound. The edge of his cloak creating a broad path in the sand behind him, he looked off into the direction the girl disappeared in, and cleared his throat as he chose his words. "Please, don't hide," he said, voice quiet and somewhat reedy. "I mean you no harm."

[Spirit_of_Fire] Dark_Orchid_Angel [Spirit_of_Fire] Dark_Orchid_Angel Such grandee was not expected.
The face of the man that wandered throughout the forest was unseen, shrouded by a shadow cast by the hood of a thick brown cloak, the edge of the cloak sweeping the ground behind him as he walked silently. Her head fell back in utter joy. Serenity made sure to hit every patch of sunlight, soaking in what little the forest had to offer. Her lips curved upwards with the hint of a smile, and the slender hand that held her cloak close loosened. Nature was her escape, so ironic yet fitting for her species. Shrugging with out the strength to care, she proceeded along her stroll till a body of water met her exposed skin. The lake that stood before Serenity was rather extensive. Gripping the sides of the tree, she prepared to run or fight if she had to. Though as his voice floated into the air her mind ached with relief. It was not the one she had feared and nor did it seem some one that would be associated with such a person. Sighing quietly, Serenity took hesitant steps until she was gazing directly at the person before her. Swallowing she gathered the threads of her courage and spoke. "Please excuse my behavior. I mistook you for another." Her quiet words died with the wind, and silence now filtered into the air. With a discrete and innocent look she studied him unsure of what or who he was. She did not wish to be rude or come off in any such way but her curious mind could not help itself. "May I ask what brings you here?" Her pallid hand hung on the edge of her navy cloak, the silver crest of her family shining in a shaft of reflected sun.

As she drew closer to him, he tilted his head slightly downward, evidently trying to keep his face hidden. "It is quite alright," he said in response to her apology, "I often frighten those who see me." As the sun began to emerge from behind the clouds, he seemed to shirk back from the light, but stopped himself from doing so with visible effort. The moment the sunlight illuminated the silver crest upon her cloak, he raised a single gloved hand to shield the shadowed face underneath the cloaks hood, a small gasp escaping from his unseen lips. Lowering his hand slightly, he couldn't help but feel a sense of déjà vu upon seeing the crest in clear light. Clearing his throat once more, he seemed to speak with slight hesitation. "I am just a traveller. I have been exploring the woods for... I think about two days now. You're the first life I've seen that isn't a plant or animal."

Serenity crossed her arms, crumpling the embossed symbol into layers of fabric. So he had recognized it. Inwardly she sighed, hoping he would at least have the sense not to give her the speech everyone else had. It only made her angry and more adapt to be unfriendly to another. Shaking her head of her current thoughts she focused more on what he was speaking of and how he had reacted to the sun. "On the contrary sir, you do not frighten me." She smiled quietly. "My name is Serenity. I'm only visiting this area though you will find I'm not the only one here. Farther up is the keep and the city." Using her manners of which her mother had always begged her to use, her voice was almost rehearsed sounding. Serenity kept her smile intact, trying her best to keep the curiosity at bay. The way he fought to stay in the sun and how he hid his appearance so diligently. Though was she no better? With a barely audible sigh she felt silence creep between them and she shifted awkwardly in her stance. What more was there to say after all. So she waited for an answer he gaze pacing the forest floor.

She did not wish to be rude or come off in any such way but her curious mind could not help itself. "May I ask what brings you here?" Her pallid hand hung on the edge of her navy cloak, the silver crest of her family shining in a shaft of reflected sun. Awaiting for the girl to show herself, he stood still on the shore of the lake. As she came out from behind the tree, he withdrew one gloved hand into the cloak, as if searching for something. Once she was near, however, he brought his hand back out. You're the first life I've seen that isn't a plant or animal." Serenity crossed her arms, crumpling the embossed symbol into layers of fabric.
He seemed to nod with a sort of relief at her response. "So I do not frighten you... that is good..." Giving a slight bow, he kept his head bent as he righted himself, knowing full-well the shade of the hood kept him hidden. "My name is Algidus, though my associates refer to me by my surname, Cruor." Soon after saying his name, Cruor seemed to pause. Suddenly lifting his head slightly, his voice held obvious tones of surprise. "There's a city near here? I really am bad at finding my way." Not knowing what else to say, he too fell silent. After a minute or two of silence, he held his head up to face her once more. "You said yourself you don't fear me... I am not sure what you will think of this. Just don't run if you are frightened." Slowly, he reached both of his hands to the edges of his hood, and carefully pulled it back to reveal his head. Just as the rest of his exposed skin, his face was deathly pale. His hair was the color of a freshly-fallen snow, and grew short with the exception of a few long sections of fringe across his forehead. The irises of his eyes were an extremely light shade of blue, making his coal-black pupils stand out in his eyes, making his gaze seem somewhat piercing. However, if anything was truly "frightening" about him, it was one thing: a number of thin silver needles extending from his head. Hairs-breadth scars connected the needles spaced out amongst his face, from his cheeks, jaw, forehead, and temples. The sunlight caused the very tips of the needles to create tiny pinpoints of light, as if stars were surrounding his skull. Once exposed, he gave a kind of sheepish grin, looking down at the ground as he spoke. "Not to scary?"

[Spirit_of_Fire] Dark_Orchid_Angel [Spirit_of_Fire] Dark_Orchid_Angel [Spirit_of_Fire] Dark_Orchid_Angel Her head fell back in utter joy.
"I mean you no harm." Her shallow breath increased, her chest rising and falling in a steady pace as the cloaked figure neared. No particular expression crossed her complexion except for intrigue. I wonder what those needles are for... Clearly Cruor was not one to show his appearance to many and for that reason she could understand. Many that travel among this paths were far from accepting and most likely ran the other direction with there tails between their legs. Smiling with reassurance, Serenity kept her gaze from roving. "Not scary at all. I hope I am not making offense." She grinned with the utmost sincerity. "Would you like to see the city?"

As Serenity tilted her head and the expression of question crossed her face, Cruor seemed to shirk back slightly. Once more, he reached within the folds of the decrepit cloak draped over his form, the look in his eyes momentarily changing from passive to a predatory fear. For whatever he had within the folds of his cloak, he evidently thought it would be useful to deal with the situation if it turned ugly. However, once the she smiled and dismissed his concerns of being frightening, his eyes lightened and his hand left his cloak. "No offense at all. I thank you for your acceptance." he said in return. His thin lips curved slightly in a small smile, her reassurance obviously making him more comfortable. "I would be more than happy to see the city." Taking a few steps closer to her, the air temperature around him seemed to drop as he drew near. A small part of the lakes edge even seemed to frost over as he came closer, and dew on the grass hardened into ice crystals as he passed them. "Would you truly not mind if I accompanied you there? I know full well that my appearance may frighten the townsfolk. You truly don't mind?"
