Shisen appeared before the waterfall, looking around. "Alright, I got your message. Where are you?"
"Calm down. I am here." Came a voice as a red-haired man stepped out from behind some rocks.

There was a figure dressed in black poised on a rock in a meditative state, an odd hand sign formed as his eyes were closed.
Another figure appeared, several yards away from the one dressed in black. "Still doting your time away as usual."
"Doting? What a word. I would say, 'using my time wisely'."
The other scoffed. "You have not changed one bit."
"And I see neither have you. Still the same blood-thirsty beast that you always were."
"Such words are wasted on me when coming from a man who is about to meet his end."
"Then words are useless. Shall we let action speak for us then?"
"We shall."

Before the fight between the two began, the paper crane that Baku had taken wiggled it's way out of his cloak and began to fly. It continued to fly about in front of him before it became too wet from the mist of the water fall and slowly fluttered to the ground, useless.

Baku slowly bent down to look at the piece of paper, picking it up and feeling it between his fingers. "Asami-Chan?" He seemed to ask the paper.
The figure hopped off the rock and stretched. "What is that? Do not tell me the might Baku does origami now?" He seemed to laugh.
Baku glared at him. "Silence your tongue. You know nothing of it."
Doku continued to laugh. "So you do? Or did some one else make that for you? Which would conclude with some one actually having feelings for the Demon Behind the Waterfall."
"And what is this coming from you? One who also left his village, joined another organization, and fell in love with a girl named Nida?"
This seemed to anger the other man. "You dare speak her name?"
"Dare speak her name? Come now, Doku... That was a long time ago. Do me a favor and get over it. The girl is dead and you can do nothing to bring her back."
"Silence...."
"Hmm, it seems I have struck a chord. Perhaps it will do you a sense of justice to defeat her murderer?"
"I said shut up!" The air around Doku began to weigh down heavily around the area, the ground beginning to splinter and crack beneath him.

The crane gave one last wing flutter before slowly folding into a closed flower that bloomed within Baku's hand, moving no more after in full bloom.

Baku snapped his fingers, another figure appearing beside him. "Take this back to Asami-Chan. I do not want it getting ruined. Take this as well." With a tug to his headband, it came loose as he placed it in his assistant's hands. "Tell her it assures I am coming back."
"Hai, Baku-Dono." The figure vanished.

Etsuko rounded a bend in the road which led to the Great Waterfall. From here he could see figures in the distance. He picked up his pace and in a flash, he was gone.
It was minutes later that he could feel the denseness of the air. He re-emerged behind the Great Waterfall, and there he sat for a moment to assess the situation he put himself in. When he had decided it was safe for him to move about, he turned and looked out of the Great Waterfall. Though he could not see anything through the mist and the pouring water, he could feel the energies that were just beyond. It was in these moments that he began to emit his mist once again.
He had eveolved as a person since he first joined Akatsuki. Maybe it was age, or maybe time in some other form, but his old self was no more. Back when he joined, he was described as being "Fiery as his eyes and as cold as his mist," but no longer was that the case. He found that description to be too vague. He enjoyed life much more now and had friends, or associates with whom he could put trust in. Baku was chief among those associates. He had worked with Baku before and fought against him in word. In actuality, he got along quite well with Baku. He even considered him a brother.
"As fiery as my passion for people, and as cold as my mist," Etsuko said as the walls in the small cavern began to congeal with ice. The ice spread deep and slowly it began to affect the waterfall itself. Chuncks of ice would start falling down in the waterfall, ending in a loud splash from behind the two fighters on the other side.

Doku met him with a few more punches, sending him up into the air. He appeared above him, sensing a heel drop into Baku's spine, shooting him back down into the water with a thunderous splash. Doku landed on a rock, taking a striking position. "Feh. Your words hold no merit."
"No merit, hmm?" Baku said while rising from the water, a bit of blood trickling from his chin. "You seem to forget, that this is the way all our confrontations begin. You exploding from the gate and attacking me with all you've got, and then I finish you and leave you crippled." Baku put his blade back in its sheath and began to perform hand signs. "But this time, I do not intend to leave you for dead. I intend to stay and watch as the last bit of life is sapped out of you while I hold your beating heart in my hands. I want to see that last gasp for air and life when I feel your heart fold and give way under my crushing fingers." Around him, water seemed to swirl upwards and take form around him in the shape of a dragon. "Suiton: Suiryuudan no Jutsu."

Doku found himself encased in a sphere of water, Baku's finger touching the outside as he stood and grinned at Doku. "Like I said, too brash. You never think." Baku unsheathed his blade and thrusts it forth into the orb, cutting into Doku's shoulder. He could hear the muffled screams of pain as red liquid began to swim inside the water. "Hurts, hm?"Baku was about to slash across his chest, just when...."Douryuu Taigai." The ground from underneath Baku became a raging river of mud as he was caught under the waves nut quickly flipped into the trees. He glared down at Doku who was now out of the prison.

The fighters would not have noticed the complete freezing of the waterfall as they fought on, but it was now time. The freezing water waters' chill would spread through the area, freezing all other sources of water.
"They know I am here now," Etsuko sighed as he stood facing the waterfall. "I guess I should not disappoint them then."
Etsuko placed his palm against the the sheet of ice in front of him and fulled on it as if grabbing the hilt of a sword. As he pulled, a long sword emerged from the ice leaving a hole where the ice had been before. It was big enough to look through. He held the masamune in his hand and flourished it a bit before stiking against the sheet of ice. A couple of slices later, he punched the wall with his free hand, causing the wall of ice to give way and fall to pieces. He stepped out of the small cavern and onto the frozen water outside, his icy sword resting on the back of his neck.
"When will you learn, Baku-sama," Etsuko yelled from a distance. "You are not alone." He glared at him menacingly and then turned to look at the figure attacking him. "I came of my own accord. I was not asked to come along, nor did Baku know I was going to follow after him. I do not know for certain who you are, but I assure you, you haven't met someone quite like me." He laughed absentmindedly as he formed a quick set of handseals. "Kokuangyou no Jutsu," he said as, to Doku's mind, everything became pitch black.

Baku sighed as he tapped the dragon with Water Shed, and it returned to water. "You should not have come. I am able to do this on my own. I do not need, anyone." He gripped the hilt of his blade tightly. "This is my battle, not yours."
Doku entered a meditative state, sighing calmly as he listened to the others converse. He knew he could break this Genjutsu, but he decided to takea focused approach to it all.
