*This is very old, some of this will probably have to be changed, but until I can redo it, it stands as is.
Rule Number One: Do not talk about Onigiri forums
Rule Number Two: Do not talk about Onigiri forums
(Yeah, like Fight Club)
While I want to get a lot of members, I don't just want a lot of random people showing up. I'm sure all of you can think of other guilds/threads that have been overrun by people who're just not worth reading posts by. Please invite people to Onigiri. Just don't go too crazy, ok?
Rule Number Three: The Moderators are in charge
The people I've chosen as moderators are people that I respect, and that I feel have shown the capacity to be in a leadership position. (Though if you haven't been chosen, it doesn't mean you aren't either of those things, there's a lot of reasons.) As such, they have the ability to do things that moderators need to do, and I've given them the trust that they will use that power correctly.
However, they are human, as am I. This is not to be taken as an apology in advance for rules broken, rather it is the opposite. Breaking rules will lead to punishment, no matter who does it. Rather, I ask that if you feel a mod (or even admin, like me) are abusing rules please let me know. One thing I felt was lacking at other forums is that even though people were communicating, they weren't communicating with each other. I want this to be more laid back.
To that end:
Koholos: Chancellor of Onigiri
Squidy_Spazz: Main Forum Mopper-Upper
I will add more as they're promoted.
Rule Number Four: Only 2 battles at a time.
Only 2 GFX battles at a time, per person. That's it. 2. When those are finished, you can move on. Till then, no more.
Some of the General Punishments, just in case I need them:
Instaban: Threatening, Attempting to hack, succeeding in hacking, posting porn or the like, violating ToS. (These will also get you reported)
Warning: Spamming, Flaming, Trolling (well, that might get a temp ban), making potentially offensive threads (you know the kind I mean, I hope)
Note that there's levels of Spamming and Offense. As noted, the moderators are in charge, and they'll mediate if problems arise.
The person writing a review or making a topic chooses where it goes.
If you disagree with where it is placed you have the right to PM me, but unless I feel that it is a major issue (Putting FMA in Shoujo Romance, for example) I will probably stand by it. If I find a post in the topic saying it's in the wrong place, I will automatically stand by the topic maker. You may not like it, but I feel that it's acceptable.
I'll add more when I think of them.
