Sorry for my spaztic title but according to Pitchfork.com, the Gorillaz Documentry film, Bananaz, will be shown at the Berlin Film Festival this week today and tommorrow. The public screening will be on February 9 and on the 13-15.

Yeah, but doesn't it debut on the 13th? *got the newsletter* The countdown's for the 10th, right? Or maybe that is what the countdown's for? @.@
I'll probably watch it eventually, but I'm not so keen on the documentary. As you know, I'm really into the characters, not the people. Even watching them perform it live, it feels like it's just a cover version of Gorillaz. I don't know... I just have real trouble associating them directly with Gorillaz, like they ARE Gorillaz. For me, they never will be. The Gorillaz will always be the characters. ^.^

Yeah, I'm being cautiously optimistic about this movie and not getting my hopes too high, but who knows? Maybe the movie may be just as good even without the actual characters.

That's what I thought about their Mockumentory. Turns out that faux documentary was only good once. Then it was just kinda irritating...

The Mockumentry was a little annoying, I'll admit
Man, people have little hope that this movie's gunna be good.
Oh well, Maybe I'll rent it when it comes to DVD.

I just don't wanna get my hopes up too high, in case it really does kinda suck. That way, I won't be too disapointed.

As much as I like some of Gorillaz anti-commersialism messages, I'm afraid I don't really see them deliberately missing out on a buck or two by not producing the DVD.
It might be hard to come by, is all.

If they don't release it on DVD, then hopefully they'll release it in independant film theatres.
Or they'll include it in their phase 3 dvd.

They're sure to release it in some form. Maybe they'll air it on TV or make it available online if they don't do a DVD.

Us Californians go it rough. No Phoo Action, Bananaz is coming to us (at least not as of yet), and neither is Gorillaz Live! D:

Wait...nevermind. Extremely far away....as usual...
Us Californians go it rough. No Phoo Action, Bananaz is coming to us (at least not as of yet), and neither is Gorillaz Live! D: At least we don't live in the Central U.S. They almost get nothing(at least that's what I've been hearing from the Gaians who live there). At least we're one of the popular states. Who knows? If Phoo Action gets popular enough, it MIGHT get to the U.S.
