Year 1920, January 4th:

They silently coexist with humans...they are there...but no one believes that they exist...vampires. There is good and bad amongst the humans...but should that be said about vampires? Some say that these creatures are kind and peaceful, others say that vampires are unforgivable monsters who feed off the blood of living humans. Part of this is true...that they are kind creatures, however the fact that they are monsters is also true. They cannot keep their composure when they are thirsty for blood, they completely lose themselves for the lust of blood until it is satisfied...

One more thing...if your character is a vampire then they may have
one power. Speed and strength don't count, they already have those two powers.
Also, we have enough vampires. However we will only accept male vampires from now on (since we only have one of those -______-).
We need humans and vampire hunters right now. Remember that vampires and vampire hunters are rare and are the only ones who know about vampire existence. Humans are what we need most at the moment.

Q: What characteristics do vampires have in this RP?

A: If you've ever read Twilight then the vampires have the same characteristics as the ones in the series. For those who have not read the Twilight series, the vampires in it have super speed, super strength and have amazing senses of sight, smell and a sixth sense when they can tell when danger is near (like animals can). Also, they all have one power but not powers like Superman, but powers that are a bit more natural.

Q: How can a vampire die in this RP?

A: Well first things first...you can NEVER EVER kill someone else's character without their permission!!! But the answer to the question is that vampire cannot just die from having a stake being driven through their heart! They have no beating hearts! They are, in a way, dead! Just like in Twilight, the only way you can kill a vampire is by literally tearing their bodies apart then burning them to ashes. They can still move and are still "alive" even when their heads are ripped off! You need to finish the job and burn the bodies so that someone doesn't run or get attacked by a headless vampire!

Personality: Very kind. She does not want to hurt others and will do whatever she can to protect those who are closest to her. She is powerful and hyperactive at times but can be very serious.

History: Senta came from a very rich and powerful family in the early 1800s. She had married parents and an older sister whom she cared for very much. They lived happily as a family and spent much of their time together. Her father did not spend as much time with Senta, her mother, and Ara (her sister) because of his work running a very popular jewelry company. However he tried to spend as much of his free time as possible with the rest of his family...until a very snowy January night. Senta and her family were attacked by a very thirsty vampire on their way back from seeing a play. Her Mother and Father were killed instantly in the accident while she and Ara were sent to the ER immediately. After being unconcious for days, Senta finally woke up from a terrible dream that her parents were killed in an accident. It did not take her long to realize were she was, and that it was not a dream. She got up immediately, ignoring the pain, and ran to find her sister in the room next door. When she got there, Ara was awake, but barely alive. Senta cried and begged her sister to hold on and that she could make it, however Ara passed away in Senta's arms moments after. Senta was devastated when her sister died that she ran out of the hospital, nurses and doctors attempting to run after her to bring her back to her room. After a while of chasing, they gave up and went back to the ER thinking that Senta would come back after a while...but she never came back. She ran and ran until she finally collapsed somewhere in the snowy woods outside of the city she lived in. She was cold, hungry and in pain from the injuries she had recieved. She screamed and cried throughout the night, her side bleeding uncontrollably into the snow, turning it red. Soon she passed out again after losing so much blood, tears still falling from her eyes even after she lost conciousness. She later woke up again, still laying in the snow, but she noticed something was different. The pain had gone away, and it was as if she was never in an accident. But then she found small pierce marks on her neck and fangs protruding from her mouth...thus, her life as a vampire began...

Power: Grey walker- A grey walked is someone who has a little fragment of themselves in between this world and the next, the plain ghost are on, allowing them to glimps shadows of the past, and see ghost as clearly as you or I.

Personality: Quiet, but insane and sadistic. Though will have tantrums, and freak out, if anything is out of its "order" due to her case of OCD.

History: Saiyuki, or Sai, was born in Ireland, during the time of duridisim, and was thus raised in the forest, learning the ways of a herbalist, and hunter. As a human child, she became a wonderful swords master, but it seemed her skill with the blade was not enough. During the first crusades, her village was killed by english men, this was the start of her travels. Her long black hair, and fair skin, made her easily mistaken for an English woman, so from Ireland, was taken to England, and there she became a vampire, quickly learning, and becoming something of a cross dresser, in order to gain ranking amongst humans. Staying in England for nearly a century, when trade brought stories of the east, she became a sailor, and was soon in Japan and China. There she learned of her powers, for in a place where the air is riddled with spirits, with her power, it would be hard not to learn. After many years in Asia, she abandoned her former name, which she no longer remembers, being Saiyuki, the japanese word for "journey to the west". From then on, she traveled around the world, but always returned to Asia, finding herself most at home there, for reasons medical science would later learn, was called OCD. For in Japan, everything is in a order, everything is a ritual, and everything is perfect.
Though modern day was one hell of a releaf, when Saiyuki discovered, people all over the world, had started being tidy, bathing every day, and in general, acting like proper humans, and so Saiyuki decided to try her hand at living in the new world, called America.

Power: Mental influence (like hypnosis): She can control a person’s, vampire’s, or animal’s feelings, thoughts, senses, and actions by sending a subliminal message to their subconscious mind and fulfilling it by either touching them, verbalizing the command, or looking them directly in the eye. She can also use hypnosis through music and writing. She has just as much control over an animal’s mind as she does a human’s or a vampire’s. She can control multiple minds at the same time, but she requires more energy to do that. When she hypnotizes someone they don’t realize it until she releases the mental bond. They often forget what happened. (When she sends a subliminal message it can’t be heard because they are sent to the subconscious mind.)

Personality: Mysterious, quiet, polite, unsociable unless talked to, curious, and caring (mostly toward animals). Loves darkness, any cold weather, nighttime, the wild, music, writing, and blood. Hates sunny days, hot weather (though she can stand it), and people (especially loud, arrogant people). Cares about animals, the earth, and sometimes certain people. Fascinated by vampires.

History: Lamia was born in Nepal and lived with her aunt, Xanthe (ZAN-thuh). Xanthe used to tell her stories when she was young about creatures called empousai and mormolykei. She loved the stories and wanted to make stories of her own. So Xanthe taught her to read and write and she started doing both when she was very young. She learned to sing from listening to her aunt and also developed a love for music.
When she was only a baby she would make people do things for her without putting much thought into it. She couldn’t control her ability, so if she wanted something she would uncontrollably hypnotize people into doing what she wanted. When she sang, the people around her would react to the tone of the song (like they would fall asleep if it were a lullaby or start crying if the song was about something sad). When she was little she gored her arm while she was exploring in the mountains. She tried to make herself stop bleeding by sucking up the blood, but it healed fast. She loved the taste and wondered what other people’s blood would taste like. She started uncontrollably hypnotizing people into cutting themselves so she could drink their blood. When Xanthe learned what she was doing she took her to Tibet to learn to meditate to help control her ability and urge for blood. After living there for forty years she learned to have complete control over her ability and urge for blood. While she was there Xanthe told her that she was a vampire and so was her mother. She told her about her parents and about vampires in general. She wanted to know more about vampires, so she traveled the eastern hemisphere following vampires. She learned about the vampires of each place and their history. She also learned to read and compose music and play various instruments: voice, the pipa, koto, piano, harp, cello, citar, and tablas. Her body is always cool. She cannot be easily injured or get sick, but when injured or sick, she heals really fast. She can stand harsh temperatures for long periods of time before her body feels it and starts becoming affected. She can hypnotize herself into not feeling pain, but when she doesn't she can feel it if it is extreme. Her body development takes much longer than a normal human. As a baby, she grows like any normal human until she is one. From one to three her body grows a year every ten years. From three to eight her body grows a year every twenty years. From ten to thirteen she grows every thirty years. And from thirteen to twenty one she grows every forty years. Once she is physically twenty one her body stops growing, but her fast immunity slowly gets weaker over decades until she has the same immunity as a human. Her mind, however, is unaffected by her physical development. She has a good memory and is very intelligent and artistic. She is a musical genius. She can play eight instruments (including her voice) very well and composes music of her own. She is also a brilliant poet and writer and knows sixteen languages. She doesn’t need blood to survive, but she likes it. It’s like candy to her. She can smell blood, but she doesn’t crave it. She knows about the vampires and can differentiate them from humans by their scent. To a vampire, she has a distinct scent that is pleasing to their senses, but they don’t crave her blood. History: His family owns a farm in the countryside, away from one of the budding cities. The job opportunities there though have driven him to make the long journey, regularly on foot, and thus he has some training to defend himself from bandits or thieves. He has an older brother who is likely to inherit his family’s estates which is what drove him to go out looking for his own piece of the world.

Personality: Amelia, or Immunization, is not loud or by any means vampiric. As she cannot part take of most natural needs of either undead or alive, she often mingles as though she were no different than a human. She is an assassin by ability and laws of her race though her methods are less then something desirable. Taking full advantage of her abilities when the time rolls into her lap. Face to face, she is polite and gently graced with the poisonous tongue. Secretive of herself and ashamed of her own, she feels the need to erase the clans that cannot coexist with the kind she grew to love like sheep.
History: Amelia had been raised by a pagan family into a pagan way of life. Caine and Able times when the stones still weeped. It was fresh yet, some several years fresh and she had been the daughter which had spawned from the sinning family. Her fate sealed. Turned by a child hood friend and crush at the old age of twenty, and then marked for all it was worth shortly thereafter. Amelia was a third generation of her race by blood and the third female to be embraced. She had not fallen in love again for that was a dangerous game she lost without choice of playing. Her life thus far had been nothing out of the normal, moving from one family to another as they aged, passed, and became with the dust. Description: Moon stained skin as flawless as a porcelain doll tainted only by the inked flesh along shoulders and spine region in the resemblance of demonic wings spreading along shoulder blades. Black strapless undergarment barely exposed beneath deep gray vertically striped vest. White tie tucked under this to conceal any excess flesh of chest. Small built woman not taller than perhaps five feet and four inches and the slender form of an acrobat or contortionist. Simple black slacks held fast to hips and over a pair of thick leather boots that ran and reached up calves. Coal black arm warms stretched up to elbows without effort, silver bangles looping around wrists. Perhaps six or so holes lined the outside of ears and loops and studs glittered behind fixed black sheen locks. Solid charcoal top hat sat atop head proudly and hair hidden beneath it. Single skull pin sat at the rim and stuck to the side of the adornment. While another pin clung to the right pocket of vest. Silver hoop wrapped in and out of left nostril in another piercing while thick black specs perched atop the bridge of nose. Brows were thin black lines on her cool features which held neither expression or feeling it seemed. Had they, it would be most morbidly out of place for such a damned creation. Cig hung lazily from pale pink lips while the stream of smoke slithered toward the sky in elegant designs. Such a stoic vision to behold.

After that day Valentine swore to kill every vampire he came across and the ones he didnt he would hunt down.

She draws people to her like flies, different kinds of people as well, from normal to psychotic. She has a mother complex, but doesn't see it as a problem and will kick anyone's a** who insults her mother.

History: Cassandra grew up with her mother, a very strong woman who didn't take help, pity, or crap from anyone. Her father walked out on her and her mother when she was five and she doesn't remember a lot about him. She loves her mother and doesn't know what she'd do without her. She has absolute respect for her. Now that she is older and has her own place she likes to visit her mother in the country side ever so often. She calls her every night too. There is a large secret surrounding who her father was, but she doesn't know about it, only her parents.
Cassandra is attending a college in the city right now, majoring in art, her passion, and she's staying in a one bedroom, one bathroom apartment with her cat Mr. Snugglepoof. She's lived there for about two months and is adjusting nicely to the life of the city.

The only escape? His guitar. A friend of his taught him, and he was addicted ever since. It is his lifeline and is what brings him joy. He is also good at art and math. Often enough James is also a good person to goo to f one need to be cheered up about something.

History: Kyosuke had grown up in a normal, middle class family. They weren't exactly wealthy, but at least they weren't poor either. Growing up like all other teenagers, he rebelled against his parents until one day when he had run away from home and shouted that he hated them as he slammed the door. Upon his return, feeling sorry and ashamed he had opened the door to a pool of blood, where there stood a tall shady creature, a vampire who looked quite full. Tears swelling in his eyes, he grabbed what he could find and eventually slayed the vampire, but gotten hurt from it. He sobbed for many days over his parents death, wishing that he could take back the words he had last said to them. He had to support himself and make people believe that his parents were still alive. His past has caused him much pain and grief, causing him to be cold and distant from others, but he doesn't like to show it around those he cares about. In fact, he's almost the exact opposite of his personality...He does indeed hate vampires, but not enough to kill them as a profession, which is why he is not a vampire hunter. Besides, he'd rather forget it all...

Not that she tries to make friends with the rest, she just likes to believe that everyone has the right to live, as long as they abide by her moral code... you know... don't eat people who don't want to be eaten.
History: She was taken from her home as a small child and raised by her mother's cousin who was a vampire hunter. Though at the time she thought he was training her for the military. However when she got older and a Vampire crossed their path He automatically went after it even though it had done nothing to anyone that they knew of. Seeing this she tried to stop him and protect the vampire. It got away and he moved on without her. She's been traveling and doing odd jobs sense.

History: Born in Ireland he had been educated in several well established cooking schools by the age of 16. He likes finding out knew dishes and trying to make them. He likes to make people try them, but has yet to find someone who doesn't just say "Oh that's so good!'.

Personality: He usally never talks, so he seems shy, but when you actually get to know him then he is very talkitive and loves jokes and fun.

History: Saruki was born to a small family of four (father: Therion, mother: Celest, older sister: Valaryie) they were not extremly wealthy but certainly more wealthy than anyone else around. His father owned a merchant company and made all sorts of deals with local villages and towns which means he is gone quite a bit. Saruki got a decent education from a school not to far from his home town then came back after. He now works at a local tavern and makes a fair amount of money.

Recently, Senta has gotten herself wrapped up into a fight with a vampire hunter named Valentine who nearly killed her friend Lillith who was trying to protect her from the vampire hunter while Neblim tried keeping her in her hotel room so she wouldn't get herself killed. We will start from this point:

When the cutting didn't stop, Senta got fed up and snatched the sword, flinging it behind her and standing up. A puddle of blood formed around her. She was thirsty. A loss of blood equals the more likely she is to lose control from craving it. She approached the hunter, ready to pounce on him, ready to attack his throat his her fangs. Ready to drain every ounce of blood in his body.
