Up until this week I didn't realise how good of a teacher my english teacher is. She is an amazing teacher she is a teacher who makes you think, she wants you to learn, and she wants to learn about you. She cares about you and she is a really good person. She doesn't put you down because you are young and don't have experiance in life that she's had.
She has changed my perception of thinking (this also came from another source but uh lets focus on teachers~ >.>; ) she has made me realise things about myself I didn't know before like how I'm thirsty for knowledge about everything and anything. She's deffinately someone who I look up to and respect and someone I relate to.
I know there are alot of people who haven't had this kind of experiance but it's something wonderful that I hope everyone gets to have someday.
So i have to ask do you have a teacher who inspires you, maybe you even just know a person who makes you feel this way?

While we're on the subject of english teachers, I'll bring up my current instructor, Professor Jenkins. He teaches critical thinking through analysis of popular culture. Not only that, but he has an appreciation for the martial arts, and from what I can tell, I managed to recruit my English professor into my kenjutsu class.

My latin teacher was very inspiring to me. I already loved Greco-Roman mythology, but in that class, my intrest sky rocketed into finding out more and more about the gods and anchient greek religion.

My English teacher is a HUGE inspiration to me. She always encourages creativity. Last lesson, she took us on a walk around the school with our notebooks. We used all our senses to take in what was around us and we wrote notes in our notebooks. We are going to turn our notes into descriptive essays.
She always encourages me to submit my writings to contests and magazines.

The biggest inspirational teacher I've ever had was my 3rd grade english teacher. I was still struggling alot with school work back then, mostly reading. I didn't have alot of friends, just one friend to be exact. Oh yes, I hated reading back then. I hated to authors who made me feel stupid, because I struggled to understand their message. Thats when my english teacher came into the picture. She showed me the real person I was. For example, I thought my favoret color was pink, but that was because I thought thats what my favoret color was supposed to be. Turned out that it was blue all along. But most of all, she helpped me discover that I wanted to be like those authors I hated so much. That I wanted to write stories, just like them. Thats when I started to love to read, and really get into it.
But around the end of the year, she left the school. We had a sub for the last few months of school, and she was nothing like my teacher. Quiet rude, accutally. I don't know why she left, or where she is today. But I want to thank her for helpping me when I needed it.
