The Centrosian calender notes the year as containing 336 days; 12 months containing 28 days each. 3 months fall within each season of the year. The months themselves have no names and are referred to as "Early", "Mid", or "Late" of whatever season.
Example: The House of Bricks began school on Tuesday of the second week of Early Fall.
--------
Larek'ku - The single sun that shines upon the planet. It is named for the Udoni diety of life and creation, whom is considered both male and female.
Silica - The first of the three moons circling the planet. Silica is a large pale moon that stays full year-round due to it's stationary orbit. It shines a pale silvery white, brightly lighting the night sky (slightly brighter than a modern day full moon). The moon bares a clearly visible crescent-shaped mountain range on its surface, giving the appearance of a crescent moon within the full moon, known as the Inner Crescent or Holy Crescent. Silica can be found in the northern area of the sky and is often referred to as the Moon of the Enlightened or the Wayfarer's Moon; as it is used as a beacon or marker for travelers during nightly travel (much like the north star). Silica is named for the Udoni Goddess of Light, Hope, and Knowledge. Though Larek'ku is considered the originator of Light, Life, and all creation, Silica is often called the Mother of Light or Holy Mother. It is said that she sits within the skies, constantly working at her crescent loom from which the rich tapestry of stars is woven.
Akarion - The second of the three moons; it has the widest, most erratic rotation and orbit. Akarion only experiences phases as it moves towards the planet once every five years. As Akarion approaches a certain distance to the planet, it waxes from a dark new moon and goes through nightly phases until it reaches its closest proximity at which it develops into a full moon shines with a bright, blood red glow. When fully visible, three canyon-sized craters are visible on it's surface. At Akarion's passing each five years, Silica disappears from view in the sky, overshadowed by the red moon. The full moon lasts one full night before moving away from the planet and waning back into darkness for another five years. The full visible rotation lasts for two weeks; one week coming and one week going. The night of the full red moon is considered a day of bad luck, and is also referred to as The Demon's Holiday, as many monsters and demons become active that night. Akarion's close proximity to the planet also effects the tides of lakes and seas, sometimes causing floods and tidal waves in coastal cities. The moon is named after the Udoni legend of Akarion, the demon god who embodies chaos, destruction, and darkness.
Malteus - The third of the three moons, it is the one that is most like the moon of modern times. Malteus is a deep grey color and orbits regularly around the planet. It experiences regular phases, reaching the stage of full moon every 28 days. The full moon of Malteus signifies the end/begining of each month as well as of each year. When full, the light from both Malteus and Silica light the sky almost as brightly as the sun during the day. Malteus is named for the Udoni God of Vigilance, Strength, and Hope who continues his duty of guarding the planet from Akarion's outside invasion. Malteus is also considered the god of Battle and Valor and is often prayed too for victory and strength during war time.

Tsk. Tsk. You would name the heavenly bodies and gods after yourselves. Somebody has a god complex >.> . . .
Lol just kidding. That's really neat, actually. How long will it be until the next waxing of Akarion?
((Silver: This Sunday night (in the RP) will be the full red moon. I expected it to be longer, but apparently Aka wanted it sooner, so there we go.))
