Hello everyone, this is the thread I will begin to post all of my crazy cartoon creations, so hopefully I'll have time to periodically update this... or maybe I'll just get lazy like always and post a link to my DeviantART page... any-who, let me say some stuff about my art experience before posting the actual works (skip the long story if you just want to see the art).

Jovey4 has been doodling on papers since the fifth grade, any paper that he could get his hands on he would smother with crappy-drawn doodles. Finally he got called in during the seventh grade by his math teacher, who then berated the young man about a failed math test covered in doodles. The math teacher than urged Jovey4 to stop doodling and claimed that he would never become an artist so he might as well just forget it. Jovey4 knew in his heart that the teacher was wrong, and the teacher gave him motivation to prove the teacher wrong, so he began to perfect his art, and is currently an amateur cartoonist that works for his high school's newspaper as the comic specialist. Most of his online works can be found on his DeviantART page, at http://jovey4.deviantart.com/ which he updates frequently. He is now trying to build up the courage to ask a local ex-Disney animator for lessons (as he aspires to one day work for Pixar making computer-generated films). He draws with a Wacom tablet in Photoshop Elements 5.0 which he received for Christmas 2007.

Here is my first submission, an attempt at Manga, which I clearly suck at and need to practice WAY more if I ever intend to go pro at that. As you all can see, the lines are VERY VERY big, thus resulting in my bad cartooning habit of large lines sweatdrop . What do you all think?

You need stories xd

note: that was not an insult.. I'm just saying I'd like to see you make more use of your characters on little cartoon-ish stories... I really like reading those xd

As for the reference on your "story" and the poll, if you think it can benefit you, you should ask.
Though, practicing more than what you already do also works 3nodding
