Kwaruza moved back towards the area she had made her home. It was rather out in the open and not what seemed to be advised with the birds attacking but she wasn't worried about it. Her children, now adolescents knew how to take care of themselves.

She wasn't expecting to find anyone when she got back, Angaa and Mruka seemed to like going off and doing their own things. They were growing and Kwaruza couldn't be prouder. They were beautiful, such gorgeous children. She had truely been blessed to have such wonderful kids.

"Angaa? Mruka? Either of you about?" She called out softly as she neared her home. She always called out just in case and not to scare them if she appeared too quietly. Oh how she loved her children, ever so much!

The young adolescent yawned, his mouth spreading wide as he took in a deep breath. Still lying against the warm ground, the predominantly brown male continued to bask in the bright sunlight, the rays of the sun warming his skin as he took a midday nap. Things had been unusually boring as of late, but he supposed that was better than having things in a bad perspective? Boring was tolerable, bad was not.

His ears perked as he heard a familiar voice call out for his sister, and then for himself. Rising from his lazy state, his head turned, blue eyes gazing out and around at his surroundings as his white mane, having grown longer and shaggy, gently blew with the soft breeze.

"Mother? Is that you?"

Kwaruza heard the reply as she got a little closer and saw her son, oh how amazing he looked now. His mane and his chocolate fur. Oh he would be a heart breaker one day. She chuckled to herself.

"Yes it's me, how are you feeling?"

She walked over and had to stop herself from trying to groom him. Habits seem to die slow when it involves your own children. Though she managed to stop herself, she was sure it would embaress him somewhat if she started to groom him now he could look after himself.

"Is your sister about anywhere?" She couldn't see her but it didn't mean she wasn't near by somewhere. She knew her children were quite close so it wouldn't surprise her to find Angaa near by.

He grinned as he spotted his mother walking towards him. Without a father figure in his life, Mruka had long since depended on Kwaruza for guidance as he grew older. While it was nice to be out on his own at last, it also felt wonderful to have a family who cared for him.

One white socked paw rose to pat down his mussed hair, attempting to look presentable in front of his elder, despite the fact he normally remained casual and lax in his appearance.

"Doin' alright," he responded, nodding his head respectfully in his mother's direction. She seemed anxious to do something, probably baby him some more, and his grin grew wider at the idea. No matter how old he got, he knew his mother would always remain his mother. What a pleasant thought that was.

"No, I haven't seen Angaa around, but then again, I don't see much of anything with my eyes closed." He laughed, his tail gently swaying behind him. "Knowing her, she could be anywhere!"

She let out a small chuckle, at least her children were interesting. She had feared that they would be the most boring things but Mruka and Angaa were far from that.

"Your too lazy for your own good Mruka!" She smiled and laughed, showing that she was only joking about. It was hot out here and was only natural that a lion would wish to lay in the shade, its cooler!

"How has your hunting been going?" Kwaruza had recently decided to stop hunting for her children so that they would be able to gather food on their own. She had no doubts that Angaa could live without her bringing food home but she wasn't all that sure about Mruka. She was sure he would be fine but a mother has to worry!
