Does everyone remember when CLAMP said that one of the main characters wouldn't have their wish granted/have a "happy ending?"
Personally, I believe that according to everything that's happened up 'til now, that unlucky person is Fay (or Yuui, or whatever the heck he's calling himself now... rolleyes ). He had to go against his wish by returning to Celes, confront Ashura-ou, nearly got himself killed in the process, his brother's body's gone for good, and to top it all off, he can never return to Celes because, thanks to Fei Wang Reed's meddling, it's been cut off from both all forms of interdimensional travel.
So, here's my question: When everything's said and done, and the quest for Sakura's feathers has finally come to an end, where will Fay go? Discuss! mrgreen

I believe Fay'd end up going back to Nihon with Kurogane, even if he does end up getting his eye back in the end. They've just come such a long way together; I don't think they'd want to part ways after all they've been through and all they've done for each other. heart

It would be absolutly awsome if he went to Nihon with Kurogane. But I think it would be better if they all keep traveling. The whole group together again, since they just get along so great! smile
Or maybe they all go to Clow country! So many possiblities. Fai will just have to choose.

I was thinking about that when they left Celes. Fay living in Nihon with Kurogane would be awesome, and it seems like that's the most likely choice for him! I bet Fay and Kurogane would pay Yuuko a price to allow Fay to be able to speak Japanese...
Also I just have this strong feeling that Kurogane and Fay are going to end up together no matter what. There are hints, and even hints in the xxxHOLiC manga too. Yuuko tells Watanuki something about Syaoran and Sakura being happy in the end, and she also said "same goes for the tall one and the lanky one". Also, on more than one occasion, she says "the two futures" and in my guess it's the future of Syaoran and Sakura and Kurogane and Fay, otherwise I'd be the "three futures" or "four futures". Kyaa~ KuroFay FTW!

Unless it ends with Kurogane and/or Fai dying a horrendous death in an X-style tradition. Lol. Just kidding. I can't see that happening.
I really like the idea of Fai going back to Nihon with Kurogane in the end. I've thought about possible character interactions before and I've decided I'd really like to see how CLAMP would work out relationships between Fai and the others of Nihon - especially Souma. (I keep getting this vision of Fai calling Souma "Souma-chan" and Souma getting all flustered/confused because I imagine in her line of work she's probably usually treated like "one of the guys" so being called "Souma-chan" would be quite an unusual experience for her.)
But of course, either Fai would have to adjust to eating sushi or they'd have to make sure to have plenty of other food around for him to eat. (Assuming he gets his eye back.)

I agree. I mean, where else would he go and why? Him going back to Nihon with Kurogane would make the most sense and seems like the happiest solution. He also seems to get along with Tomoyo and the others well from what they've shown, and it would just be cute and I would be happy. gonk

If KuroFay happens (which it DEFINATELY will!), Fay staying at Nihon with Kurogane seems like the only logical choice. There's really no where else, but I see this as a good thing!

Since Fai can't go back to Celes he should stay in Nihon Country with Kurogane. But then again, what about the other two? They just can't leave them alone. They've been through so much and have come this far. They even decided to complete the journey together when all THAT stuff happened in Tokyo Country, which was a key turning point.
Okay. SxS should stay together and KxF should stay together too and they can just keep in touch with each other. They could live in seperate worlds but their friendship will last.
WOW; that sounded like Yu-gi-oh! Weird!!!!

Haha. Maybe they'll just pull a Lilo & Stitch. domokun Where they pretend that Stitch, Jumba and Pleakley are going to go back to their home planets, but they end up coming back to Earth to be with Lilo, because they felt like she was the one they needed to be with the most, and that being together was the only home they needed. *sappymusic* (I'm a huge Lilo & Stitch fan, lol.)
I guess I wouldn't be THAT surprised if Kurogane didn't go back to Nihon, and wanted to stay where Syaoran and Sakura were instead. o_o Because although he loves Tomoyo and the others, maybe he would feel the need to protect Syaoran and Sakura more? They are his children, after all.

I think that Syaoran and Sakura are staying in Clow Country no matter what. There's just this feeling that says they will... and as for Kurogane and Fay, they may stay at Nihon or they may stay at Clow Country. Who knows, as long as they're together, I'm happy. ^^

HEYS!!! Maybe Mokona could be their way of communicating with each other (if KuroFay and SyaoSaku stay in different worlds)! Or-or the Mokonas could have little Mokonas ( rofl )! mrgreen

For Mokona to stay with them, there would be a price to pay Yuuko... let's not forget the Mokonas belong to Yuuko (and Clow when he was alive)! xd
Fay could maybe learn Japanese?

They seemed to do just fine before when they couldn't communicate. xd But it would probably drive them insane after a while.
Maybe a third Mokona could be made? A gray one. domokun And in exchange for it, KuroFay's first born. twisted
