As of tonight, I am no longer a Ron Paul supporter.
It's not the message. It's not.
It's the letter.
I was hoping that Peul would scramble enough delegates to get at least a speaking spot in St. Paul. I was hoping that it would be Huckabee dropping and a Paul/Romney/McCain convention. I was hoping that Paul wouldn't abandon his legions of Paulunteers by closing the door on a third party run.
As it is, it looks like he wll run for Congress rather than for the Presidency.
I feel he's committed a colossal blunder. I do have to wonder if someone at CPAC basically forced him to drop/suspend/look towards Congress. Certainly Romney was showing no signs of stopping either and then suspended out of the blue. It makes me think of less than fair play.
I will now be weighing my options for who to vote for in Denver at the LP convention. It's time for me at least to return to the Party of Principle.
