Sure, go ahead. biggrin
My favorite right now is 'Majestic' by Lincoln Brewster. X3 I love singing harmony on this one, and my guitarist friends do an awesome job playing it.
Here's a link to the guitar chords and lyrics for anyone interested- http://www.ultimate-guitar.com/tabs/l/lincoln_brewster/majestic_crd.htm

and they sing the song of Moses,
the servant of God, and the song of the Lamb
saying great, great and marvelous
are Your works, Lord God Almighty
just and true are Your ways o Lord,
King of the Saints, who shall not fear You o Lord
Hallelujah (x4)

I bless You Lord, (woman echo: i bless u lord) o i bless You Lord (o i bless u Lord)
I lift my hands (i lift my hands) to You (to You) x2

Have you ever heard the song "All I Can Say" by David Crowder? Well, lately I've been going through some rough times. This song has become my constant prayer to God because it says exactly what I feel: way too often I feel weak and lonely and like I can't handle another moment, but then I'm reminded that God's right here next to me, and that he's crying for me too. Here's the lyrics... Look it up on youtube if you wanna hear it. It's a beautiful song. Good for quiet times. wink

Lord, I'm tired
So tired from walkin'
And Lord, I'm so alone
And Lord, the dark is creepin' in
It's creepin' up to swallow me
I think I'll stop
Rest here a while

This is all that I can say right now
This is all that I can give
This is all that I can say right now
And this is all that I can give
That's my everything

Lord, didn't you see me cryin'?
Oh and didn't you hear me call your name?
Wasn't it you I gave my heart to?
I wish you'd remember where you set it down

And this is all
This is all that I can say right now
I know it's not much
And this is all that I can give
This is all that I can say right now, right now
I know it's not much
This is all that I can give
That's my everything

I didn't notice you were standin' here
I didn't know that that was you holdin' me
I didn't notice you were cryin' too
I didn't know that that was you washin' my feet

And this is all
This is all that I can say right now
I know it's not much
And this is all that I can give
This is all that I can say right now, right now
And I know it's not much
But this is all that I can give
That's my everything

And this is how it feels when I ignore the words you spoke to me
And this is where I lose myself when I keep running away from you
And this is who I am when, when I don't know myself anymore
And this is what I choose when it's all left up to me

Breathe your life into me
I can feel you
I'm falling, falling faster
Breathe your life into me
I still need you
I'm falling, falling
Breathe into me
Breathe into me

And this is how it looks when I am standing on the edge
And this is how I break apart when I finally hit the ground
And this is how it hurts when I pretend I don't feel any pain
And this is how I disappear when I throw myself away

Breathe your life into me
I can feel you
I'm falling, falling faster
Breathe your life into me
I still need you
I'm falling, falling
Breathe into me
Breathe into me
Breathe into me
Breathe into me

Breathe your life into me
I can feel you
I'm falling, falling faster
Breathe your life into me
I still need you
I'm falling, falling
Breathe into me

Breathe your life into me!
I'm falling, falling faster
Breathe your life into me!
falling, falling, falling
Breathe into me
Breathe into me
Breathe into me
Breathe into me

Look at you now just standing there like you think you're something.
The lights are up and the crowd is looking your way
just waiting for what you have to say
so go ahead boy - given em a little taste of hypocrisy
maybe a hint of blaspheny
whatever you're preachin it isnt me

you wanna walk with me do ya?
you wanna walk with me.
well if you love me then just love me
dont you give me pretty words
lay your life down at the altar
lemme see how serious you are

these people dont look to me no more
they've got their idols in various forms
with lust in their eyes they crave for more
take their place with the corporate carnivores

oh keep you focus for the day will come when everyone will give account for what they've done!!

make me proud - make me proud my son!

you wanna walk with me do ya?
you wanna walk with me.
well if you love me then just love me
dont you give me pretty words
lay your life down at the altar
lemme see how serious you are

look at this broken world
look at my children oh
look at this broken world
look at my children oh

look up say your prayers on the steps of the capitol
look up say your prayers on your knees

look up say your prayers
look up say your prayers

You wanted it to be like you always thought it would but all you seem to accomplish is the opposite

you wanna walk with me do ya?
you wanna walk with me.
well if you love me then just love me
dont you give me pretty words
lay your life down at the altar
lemme see how serious you are

Awesome songs, everyone! biggrin I checked out 'Dancing Generation' and I'm going to try and convince my worship leader to give it a try for youth group! X3
Recently we just sang 'Lord (I don't know)' by Newsboys. None of the vocalists (including me) had ever heard of it before, regardless, we did a pretty good job.

Video-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ip8IuizLoL4

Lyrics-
You are the author of knowledge
You can redeem what's been done
You hold the present and all that's to come
Until your everlasting kingdom

Lord, I don't know where all this is going
Or how it all works out
Lead me to peace that is past understanding
A peace beyond all doubt

You are the God of tomorrow
Turning the darkness to dawn
Lifting the hopeless with hope to go on
You are the rock of all salvation

Lord, I don't know where all this is going
Or how it all works out
Lead me to peace that is past understanding
A peace beyond all doubt

Oh, Lord, you are the author
Redeeming what's been done
You hold us in the present
And all that is to come

Lord, we don't know where all this is going
Or how it all works out
Lead us to peace that is past understanding
A peace beyond all doubt

Wow! There are some really great songs posted here!

Here's one of my favorites, From the Inside out. By Hillsong United.
(youtube vid)
I really like it because it's so beautiful and the verses feel like words spoken from my own heart. 3nodding
Also, these chords are in the key of C. So this should be a pretty easy song for a beginner to pick up, in case any of you are looking for a really wonderful and easy song. Then look no further.

Intro: F - C G x2

Verse 1:
F
A thousand times I've failed
C.....................G
Still your mercy remains
F
Should I stumble again
C......................G
I'm caught in your grace

Pre-Chorus:
........C
My heart and my soul
F
I give you control
Am.................................G
Consume me from the inside out, Lord.
F
Let justice and praise
Am
Become my Embrace
G...............................D
To love you from the inside out

Chorus:
Am.....................F
Everlasting, your light will shine
..........C.........G
When all else fades
Am.........................F
Neverending, Your glory goes
.....C..............G
beyond all fame
..............C.............F
And the cry of my heart
........G.............Am
Is to bring you Praise
.............F...........G
From the inside out
.............F...........G
Lord my soul cries out

Verse 2:
Your will above all else
Still my purpose remains
The art of losing myself
In bringing you praise

My favorite one is My Future Decided by Hillsong United (Which Hillsong Sydney Australia that started our church in Virgina Beach)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddrpomMNOso&feature=related

Verse 1
You hold the future in your hands
You know my dreams and you have a plan
And as you light my way, I'll follow you

Pre-chorus
My eyes on all of the above
My soul secure in all you've done
My minds made up
And you are the only one for me

Chorus
Jesus, savior, in my life you are everything
My future decided, I will praise your name
And I know that I am, I am yours
Yeah, I know that that I am, I am yours

Verse 2
You hold the earth in your command
You are the rock on which I stand
And as I live each day, I'll follow you

Bridge
Aren't afraid, aren't ashamed Lord we know who we are
We are your people and we won't be silent
Unified hear us cry at the top of our lungs
You our God and we will not be shaken

Meh, no matter. I want to get a song book of just Hillsong United. I've got some of their songs, but who can ever have too much Hillsong?~
