What gaming series is better than Mario?
None!
The longest living series, Mario prevails over all with more games under his belt than many series could only beg to get a hold of.
The story of Mario is the greatest in gaming history, and without him, gaming as we know it today would be non-existent.

Twilight Dragon Argorok Maybe but i think Zelda is just as if not more popular than Mario Mario and Zelda were very close for me,
but I had to go for Mario.
Zelda is definitely my second fave.

I have always liked the Zelda series the most
I have every single American Zelda game available

The Legend of Zelda all the way, its what I grew up on. First game I ever played was the original Zelda, I still remember sliding that golden cartridge into my NES xD

Twilight Dragon Argorok Maybe but i think Zelda is just as if not more popular than Mario Zelda is no where near as popular as Mario is.

They are equal...it kind of impossible to compare the two really as they have evolved into different games... It really counts on what you played first or liked first.. ps. The only reason Mario Galaxy beat Twilight Princess was because TP was originally developed for Gamecube, wait til the next Zelda game comes out later this year or next year.....
