I dunno if anyone else sees this, but Dp is alot like Bleach. Because of a black-haired tomboy, the main character is turned into a "ghost/soul reaper". They both fight ghosts and destroy evil ones- and travel to a Ghost Zone-like area. Also, everybody thinks they're BF and GF. Well, for DP it's true now, but not in Bleach with as far as I've got.
Differences: haircolor, powers, Ichigo half Hollow (sorry for spoiler, slow people), Danny doesn't cuss, blah, blah, blah....

ohh noo.. i grant there is relative similarity but
i think both japan fans and american fans of either series
would riot about it ..
lol if dp creator ripped bleach..
i always thought bleach's style reminded me of Ghostbusters
and obviously theres more a link to GB thru DP in some aspects
... but damn...
lol...

It was obvious when ichigo had that hollow mask on his face that he was half hollow

omg, how could I have not have seen this as a total Bleach fan!?
Now that you brought it up, yeah, I can think of it as somehow very similar.
Hehe, imagine Clockwork and Urahara counterparts. They both help the main character get to the 'area' they need to with their own helpful plan in mind.
