THIS IS GOOD NEWS. Though we are often a quiet guild (we have been picking up more speed lately), this is looking like good news for us all. Woot!

Though i be a new member to the guild, I think your boost in applicants is due to an increase in literacy among people of the world, mainly on gaia! blaugh

Maybe it's because more people have found the writing contests, discovered that they can earn money there, found that they love writing, searched for a writing guild, found this one, found the friendly people in here, and asked to join.
Or maybe it's because someone recommended it to them.
Or maybe it's just a coincidence.
