So I have an online boyfriend that's in the Army. For as long as I've known him (a little over a month) he's been in Iraq. This past week he's been home on leave and now he says he's unsure of what he wants and doesn't know what's going on with what he feels and stuff.
He wont say much to me besides somethings changed in the way he feels and it affects us. When I tried to get him to say more he said he can't really because he doesn't know what's going on. Does this have anything to do with being home after being in Iraq for months? If it does what can I do about it? Should I worry for when he goes back and returns after the rest of his time out there?
I just dunno whether I should give him the space he wants or to ignore his request and try to help him sweatdrop

Honestly, he sounds like hes kinda jerking you around, I've seen it happen with several friends.
Often times the guys are looking for companionship while overseas, someone to talk to, and an online relationship will do that, but then once they get home they meet someone, or they go back to their stateside girlfriends.
Though it could be that he really is just having problems adjusting between army and civilian life.
There are few males I trust in the military, I've seen what can happen to people once they go overseas, and maybe I'm just going off of bad experiences but long distance relationships rarely work.
I would give him his space and somewhat assume that its over, if he decides that he wants to try again or stick it out, then you are ready for that, but if not, then the healing process has already begun.
Wow, that sounds kind of harsh, feel free to ignore me, I may just be pissy with my husband right now.
