i have just started my own coven a couple of months ago and i was wondering if anyone has any of ideas on what i can do at my coven meetings because i am starting to run out of ideas.

Are some of the members of your coven beginners in Wicca? Arrange a teaching ritual or a meeting to teach them about different types of divination, like runes or pendulum or tarot. Or how about drumming circles for the full moon/new moon? How about taking your coven on a hike in to the forest to commune with nature? Or get everyone together in an informal ritual just to raise energy and get to know the Lord and Lady better. How about planning rituals to help each other in everyday life? Are any coven members sick? Do a healing ritual for them (with their consent, of course). Also get your coven together to start planning for the next Sabbat.
There are so many ideas of what to do, all you have to do is be a little creative. =)

you could always get together and plan celebrations for the sabbats or make candles or plan long trips for rituals, or have certain days you meet and discuss one thing from each member that they do during ritual that others may not be familiar with and have them teach everyone else and so forth so you're always trying new ways and methods. You could start classes and teach everyone about various herbs and their uses, etc.

thank you those are so helpful. i didnt evean thionk about hiking in the woods yet. i already tought them everything about divination. oh yeah there is also 5 members in my coven including me. dose any of you have any rituals that can raise energy that you can post for me? that would help alot thanks. OHH!!!! i just came up with an idea i can teach them how to scry with fire and by using clouds! smile

A good way to raise energy is to do the Cone of Power. It can be done by visualization, but I think the best one to do for the cone of power is a spiral dance. Choose a a candle of whatever color suits your need--I use white--and place it in the middle of the circle. People stand at strategic points, and you dance round and round, creating a spiral. When enough energy is raised, everyone stops dancing and rushes toward the candle shouting the thing they want. When you reach the candle everyone throws their hands in the air and sends the energy out in to the world.

I'm actually making a coven this Samhain so I've been brainstorming meeting ideas.

Well you could try to spread the word about your coven. Nothing too out there, though. Maybe your friends and your coven mates have friends who are interested in Wicca but aren't sure about their path yet. You could talk to them and see if they would want to be in your coven. Also, try listing your coven on witchvox.com so people in your area will know about your coven.
