Gwen sat down next to the tall willow, enjoying the breeze that ran through her fur. Her mother had gone off to do some hunting. She had tried to convince Malu to let her go, but she said that she wasn't ready yet. Not ready... puh! I've been catching crickets and frogs, and I'm good enough! She thought to herself. Thinking about it was going to ruin her good mood, but she didn't care. She was under the impression that she deserved to go out hunting.

Hedda watched her sister as she sulked, shaking her head with slight annoyance. She was trying to be in a good mood but listening to her younger sister complain to there mother about not being allowed to go hunting yet had upset her as well as the other kit, but it had angered her a good amount instead of making her sulky. There mother only wanted them to stay behind for there own safety, but the green colored kit never seemed to get that. Hedda herself and often gone off for a short time and hunted herself a bird or something around that size, but she never took Gwen. It was her time to be alone, and her Mother and sister never knew.
Stepping forward she sat by her sister, looking out at the grass surrounding the tree instead of the younger Ulaya. “ You… want to play or something? You can pick the game. ” She wouldn't normally offer but watching Gwen pout like this annoyed her to much.

Looking up listlessly at her sister, she said, "Well, okay. Do you want to play adventurers?" Looking hopefully at her moody sister, she was glad she had offered to play. Pretending to be adventurers was Gwen's favorite game, and she hadn't played with her sister in quite some time.
Usually when they played together, one of them would get upset, or angry, and the game would be cut short. Maybe this time would be different.

A smile twitched at the edges of her muzzle but she forced it away before it could be seen. She quite often enjoyed this game as well. Most of the time she didn’t find her sister to annoying during it either. She might even go as far as to say she enjoyed playing it with her sister. Nodding her head she looked to her sibling. “ Yes, I think that might be interesting. ” Standing she stretched a little. “ So what type of adventure would you like to do. ” She actually wanted Gwen to have fun, and might even allow her to have what she wanted. Even if to just take her mind off of being left home.
Hedda would never admit it to anyone, sometimes not even herself, but she didn’t like seeing Gwen unhappy. She hated the green kits annoying spoiled whining and her idea that she had the right to do anything and everything she wanted, but one of the things that angered her the most was seeing Gwen or her mother hurt or truly unhappy.

Grinning at her sister happily, she said, "Let's pretend we're adventurer's in the jungle! And we're the ones being hunted... by... uhhh.... uhh... what are those things mom told us about?" She loved the stories their mother told them, but often forgot the details of them.

Taking a second to think she couldn’t quiet remember the name of the creature her sister was referring to. There mother told them so many stories that even she couldn’t always remember what went with which story, but even she would beg Mula for a good tail and sit quietly to listen to them. “ Where those the Lion? Or wait, how about the tiger? I think it was the tigers, there the stripped ones with the orange and black or sometimes white and black. ”

"That's it!" She exclaimed happily. "Tigers. Okay, so we're in the jungle..." Frowning, she looked around. Gwen was dissatisfied with the scenery. There weren't that many trees, and that did not make for a good jungle environment. "Hmm. Can we find somewhere else to play? It's not very jungle-like here."

Looking around she agreed a little, though she liked the low hanging strings of leaves that there willow tree provided. Also if they went to far they would be hard to find when mother returned. Glancing at her sister though she knew her sibling would be upset if she said no. “ We can’t go to far, and I’d like an area with a few willows. The curtains of leaves make good cover anyway. ” Looking out from there shady hide she though of where to go before giving and nod and stepping out into the sun. “ I think I know the perfect spot actually, come on. ” Helding away from the tree she glanced back to make sure Gwen was following, thinking her sister would really like that place she was taking her to.

"Okay!" Gwen said enthusiastically, following her sister. She was glad that they were getting along so well today. She ran to catch up with Hedda, and said, "Is it far away? Have I ever been there before?"

Glancing at her sister a moment before looking forwards again she though. She remembered being there at a very young age but wouldn’t remember for sure if Gwen and her mother where with her. She had been a wonderer right at the start, worrying there mother greatly when she’d just walk off. “ Mom might have taken us there, but honestly I can’t remember if you’ve been. It’s not far though. ” Silent for the rest of there little journey Hedda lead Gwen up a small hill not that far from home. Stopping at the top she waited on her sister to catch up. Bellow them was a small glade of trees, a few willows spotting it. “ Will this do? ”

Hardly waiting for her sister to say anything to her, Gwen ran down the hill, tumbling a bit at the end. "It's perfect!" She proclaimed, sniffing here and there. "How did you ever find this place?" She asked, looking up at Hedda and grinning.

She smiled down as her sister before stepping forwards and practically sliding down the hill. Stopping at her sisters side she looked around at the trees as she seated herself. “ As I said I don’t know for sure. I think mom brought me here the first time but I can’t remember. If she did bring me here it was a while ago. ” Glancing at Gwee she grinned. “ So what’s the plan? ”

Gwen smiled mischievously at her sister and said, "Oh! Did you hear that? It sounded like footsteps!" She ran behind a tree as if hiding. "Do you think it's one of those evil creatures that mom told us about?" She looked in the direction which she wanted to perceive to have heard the noise. "Hedda, quick! It sounds like it's getting closer!"

A soft sigh left her lips. This was one of the things Hedda had trouble with. Her imagination and Gwen’s where different. Lowering her head a little she acted like she was listening for something, her ears twitching in different directions before she scampered off after Gwen. Jumping into a small bush near the tree her sister hide behind she fell still, listening more for what wasn’t really there. Turning towards where she knew Gwen was she whispered to her sister. “ Can you see it? Where is it? ”

While her sister's back was turned, Gwen pounced on her, knocking her over as she did so. She had already grown tired of this game, and wanted something to do that was a little more physical. "Haha!" She said, grinning, "I got you!" She hoped Hedda wouldn't get too mad at her, she knew that she didn't like rough housing that much.
