Anybody played the PC game? I've never had so much fun exploring a location. It'll definitely creep you out, even though there's nothing that can actually attack or harm your character at all; it's all about the thrill seeking. XD
I beat the game in just two days of playing. But I used a walkthru, which makes me sad because I went through it all so quickly... But without it, the game would be almost impossible, I think. There are some really tricky things I never would have thought of doing, or even thought possible. I mean, it's a point-and-click game, which I'm unused to, so I thought the best I could do was examine objects. I didn't know jumping out of windows was possible. XD

I've been stuck on the puzzle box for MONTHS just because my monitor is s**t and dark images show up WAY too dark on it, even on the brightest settings.
Up to that point, the game is AWESOME! I don't know about the original version, but the Director's Cut at least is creepy as ********.

The combination safe? I'm trying to think. But yay! Someone else has played. ^^
Maybe it would help if you played with the lights off. That's how I play "Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines," because any light reflecting on the monitor means you can't see ANYTHING on the screen. The game's too dark. I only had a lamp on for "Scratches," too, because it's often dark, especially the night time scenes when it's raining and stuff.

Finally finished it a week or so ago. I had to fiddle with me nvidia card settings to make out anything.....still too dark in most places, but I could at least make out the switch on the left side of the box.
The CG is really bad....and Last Visit was a tad pointless.

The same company put out a similar game shortly after Scratches, but I can't remember the name of it... If I can get my hands on the the thing, I'm totally going to buy it. I remember seeing it at EB/Gamestop when it was first released.

I don't think it's the game YOU'RE talking about, but I know there's Barrow Hill which I hear is alot less linear, and I THINK the director of Scratches ALSO did the Dark Fall games.
