I have no Christain best friends. All of my friends dont believe. I have some not so close Christain friends, but whenever I talk to them they always talk in a fake manner about God......like they are just repeating their pastor's words. Can anyone tell me how its like to have a true Christain friend? How did you meet and ebcome close?

Galad Damodred So a friend who is not a Christian is not as good a friend as one who is? I don't believe thats whats she said. And also that really depends, because like if your christian and your friend is christian then you have something in common but, since the christian faith is an essential part of their lives then when both have some...well christiany things to talk about then they can both relate well. This is not to say an athiest or a friend from some other religion wouldn't be a good or even great friend to a christian, but when it comes time to talk about your faith the other person not really knowing anything about the faith might not be able to offer advice about what troubles you might be having with your faith.... Sorry that was a long explanation.

Hey, welcome back!
Now, my opinion on this is a Christian friend has experienced the love of Christ. The Christian friend might have different perspectives on care and relationships. The Christian friend will pray for you, and love you just as God loves him/her.

hmm, if your current Christian friends talk about God in fake manner, shouldn't you help them? and as for your close friends that are non-believers, shouldn't you share the Word to them?
well a Christian friend is a brother/sister in Christ. they are there to pray for your and fellowship with you, give you uplifting verses and hold accountable for you. the same goes for you. Christian friends also help each other out if one of them is backsliding in their faith. Christian friends also understand each other when it comes to problems that only Christians can understand, mostly problems dealing with the faith, etc. Last year, I had this huge problem that only my Christian friends can understand because although some of my non-believer friends understood some of it, they did not understand the deeper, spiritual end of the problem that I was gonig through. Same thing for professing Christians and 'baby' Christians.
I would say that having friends who are on the same level or are more spiritually mature than you are very important, as they also make up the body of Christ. if you go to a church that has 'baby' Christians, then the whole church just falls apart and the body is not united.
in 1 John 1:3 - "We announce to you what we have seen and heard, because we want you also to have fellowship with us. Our fellowship is with God the Father and with his Son, Jesus Christ." (New Century Version) have fellowship w/fellow believers. Of course your individual, personal fellowship with God is always the #1 priority, but with Christian brethren it comes as a close second and is strongly recommended in order to grow stronger.
Col 1:18 - "He is the head of the body, which is the church. Everything comes from him. He is the first one who was raised from the dead. So in all things Jesus has first place." (NCV version) we are members of the same body and Jesus the head of that body. That is why we don't need to neglect fellowship.
