Welcome to Open Seas!

Somewhere there is a place were the shallows and reefs end and the ocean begins. The coral slowly tapers off as the sunlight it relies on dwindles and the deeper and deeper blue of the ocean yawns before you. This is the Open Seas, the natural home of the Everblue. Here pods can form and meet. It is a lush place, the coral home to shrimp and other delicacies and the open ocean full of schooling fish. Occasionally an Everblue may decend into one of the wide, dark chasms to search for squid and adventure.
For the inventive Everblue, this place is ever changing and interesting. Rotted out barrels, piles of coral and tangled ropes make a natural obstacle course for those who love to race while dreamers can watch life amoung the corals for hours.
As with any place, it has its dangers although they are less. The open sea makes it easy to spot sharks, be they tiger sharks from the sea or barracuda or cookie-cutter sharks from the reef. While most Everblues and sharks will ignore each other here, woe be to any lesser shark who attempts to attack a pod of strong Everblue adults.
Fishing boats and tourists boats will stop here occasionally, but it's a simple matter for an adult Blue to stay submerged and avoid their attention (and perhaps steal some of their catch!)
The real only danger is for unwary Everblues that stay too close to the shore during bad weather. They run the risk of being cut to shreads against the coral.
For the average and intelligent Everblue, Open Sea is a peaceful place to explore and relax.
