i mostly like their stuff with corpsegrinder. some of their older songs have riffs that almost sound like they just improv'd them. but it's all pretty good.
im pretty sure theyre jim carrey's favorite band, little fun fact right there. he demanded that the movie crew for ace ventura get cannibal corpse to do a scene in the movie where they play hammer smashed face. xcept they were still stupid about it, since in the credits they wrote it as 'cannibal corpses'. but that scene in the movie was i think what got them widely known in the first place.

theyre pretty good but i listen to them mostly because of the bass and guitar they sound awesome

They made what is Generic Death Metal.... I'm more partial too their Chris Barnes stuff.
