The title is very self explanatory, I think.

Here's an example:

Today I sold a pair of Aquamarine UpsideDown Boots for 1,750 instead of 17,500 because I wasn't paying attention to what I was doing. crying

Not me personally, but someone somewhere made a stupid mistake.

I've been told from birth that my b-day was Feb 1st. Filed taxes a few days ago, and it turns out the government says I wasn't born that day...
Wonder which one of us is right? I mean, I've got the birth certificate...

Whoa...

When does the government say you were born?

I hope it's something rediculous, like April 19th, 1765.

They can't tell me. I have to go to their office with a recent ID and the certificate to straighten it out. I hope they tell me then. Maybe I'll qualify for S.S. by their standards...

lol My grandfather got just the same situation, he got May in official papers, my Grand Grand Mother said it was a April 14 and my gran grand father that it was 26 April, and all this because he was born at home not in the hospital...

Unfortunately for me, I live in an aura of stupidity.

Like earlier when I was trying to figure out why the TV wouldn't turn on, turned out I was holding the wrong remote. > <

Dont feel bad, Althena. I have this cable set up where the cable box and the tv can be turned on and off separate of eachother. I'm constantly just turning on one and wondering why nothing is happening...

I spent 20 minutes yesterday wondering why my oven clock said it was 4:00 when it was 6:30 and it never changed.

I always forget about time-change soone day of a year I'm one hour earlier everywhere and one day of a year I'm always an hour late...

I think today I managed to avoid most of the stupid things. Mostly from staying at home with a book and not doing anything or talking to anybody. lol

A stupid thing my mom did a few years ago. Back when I HAD to use a floppy for a computer class, I'd left it at home. I call my mother and told her to leave it in the kitchen for me so I could just grab it and run. She put it on the fridge with a magnet. Completely wiped my report AND two chapters of a story I was writing. *shakes head*

One of mine from a few months ago... I turned my car off without putting it in park first. And since my keys come out of the ignition while the car is in MOTION, they had no problem coming out when I was stopped. I spent half an hour trying to get my car to start. Apparently it won't if it's still in first gear. lol

♥ Okay, about a week ago, I was walking home when a friend of mine called me over to his car. It was cold out and he motioned for me to get in his car. I trust him, and we've been friends for a good 2 years so I didn't feel like I couldn't trust him enough not to get in his car. ANYWAYZ...he stood outside his car and he took out a cigarette and started smoking. I reach the car, and I open his door! He looks at me for a while and I'm about to get in until I hear him asking me what I'm doing. Well...obviously I thought he was giving me a ride! Well...needless to say, he wasn't. He just wanted to talk with me out in the FREEZING cold! When four of his other friends came over and began climbing into the car he said "See ya!" and he left me there standing! He can be such a jerk sometimes! But I felt sooo stupid! Lol...I had a good laugh about it though.

What is the old saying? "To assume makes an 'a**' out of 'u' and 'me'"? As much as I hate to admit it, that tends to be true.

I let my sisters use my cell to txt their friends all the time. About a week ago, I get woken up by one of their boyfriends, and I'm understandably grouchy (especially because each one knows that it is my phone and they shouldn't txt back after they're told 'good bye'). I decide to screw with the guy, and start hitting on him. Come to find out, he wasn't the one txting, it was his mom. I personally think it's hilarious, even if a little embarrassing.

Oh, he hasn't called or txt my phone since. This equals a happy me.
