Any Pink Floyd fans in the guild? I adore the album "Dark Side of the Moon." Allegedly, if you play it with The Wizard of Oz, it syncs up. I plan on trying it this weekend. Haha. Let's discuss us some Pink Floyd.

Wish You Were Here is pretty darn spectacular. I didn't like it at first, but it really grew on me. But you know, I'm actually not a big fan of the Wall. Most people who like Pink Floyd are all "OMG THE WALL!!!!111" But honestly, I don't think it's that great. I mean, the storyline and concept is amazing, but none of the songs on the album really stand out to me. 'Cept maybe "Another Brick in the Wall Pt. 2". But that's pretty much the most overplayed song of all time (coughbesidesYesterdaycough), so, as a result, I was already sick of it before I got the album. And the movie is just effing weird. I mean, I usually like weird stuff, but WOAH.
...Okay, sorry. I just saw people responded to my Pink Floyd thread, so I got excited and had to go on a rant... but I'm done now. Really. xd

I love the Wall, Even though it is a bit overrated. Most of the people like you mentioned don't seem to understand The Wall's concept.
Nobody Home is probably my favorite Floyd song ever.

Yeah, I was listening to the Wall a little this weekend, and I'm not so angry at it as I was before. xd I mean, it's pretty good. I like it. But I'm not gonna go scream at people about how great it is or anything. But it's good.

I recently got 'The Piper at the Gates of Dawn' and 'Relics'. Very 60's, and verrry trippy. And I've been reading about Syd Barrett. He was a very interesting person. And he died in 2006. I'm always disappointed when I find out people died recently. Like when I found out George died in 2001. It's like, I didn't hear about it!? And they were alive at the same time as me, but I didn't know about them until after they died... I don't like that, it makes me sad...

I'm a Pink Floyd fan. Or rather, I'm becoming one. I do own Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall on vinyl. Here I go, ranting about my vinyl again. I haven't heard all of Wish You Were Hear. Just the song. Quote: Nobody Home is probably my favorite Floyd song ever. I love that song. It doesn't make, me cry, but it makes me feel like crying. But not in a bad way. It's way under-appreciated, I think. Also, I've only really heard Dark Side of the Moon and The Wall. What do you think I should listen to next?

You've definately got to hear the entire album "Wish You Were Here." Easily my second favorite, after Dark Side of the Moon. It's great. 3nodding
