So... I've had this idea for about the past month or so to make fanart of all the characters from Watership Down (all four versions), except that instead of just bunnies, I'm going to make them anthro bunnies. This is because I'm a heck of a lot better at drawing humans than animals xd
Hopefully I'll be able to provide some links to the art eventually; I just need to finish the compilation of character names and who's going to go together. Believe you me, there's a lot more names than I thought there was! xd

Yeah, it's probably going to take me a while. I'm still thoroughly checking through the books, and I need to check on the series to see if I missed any, but currently I have a list of 97 characters.

Are you going to post them individually as you finish them, or all together when the entire project is done? Either way, I can't wait to see what you do with them. :3

SteampunkStroud Are you going to post them individually as you finish them, or all together when the entire project is done? Either way, I can't wait to see what you do with them. :3 Because there's so many, I don't think I'll do them individually. At the same time, I don't think I'll do a gigantic group photo because I don't have the paper big enough for that xd I'll probably end up doing small groupings basing it where characters are from and who they have relationships with.
Anyways, I thought I'd give my hand a try at a bunny-anthro today. It's not really based off any of the characters, plus I didn't have a reference so it's not exactly anatomically correct. But here's the link:

I like it, Shoujo! She looks really cool, and actually I think the anatomy looks pretty good... I'm not entirely sure how anthro-rabbit bodies are supposed to look though. -shrug- xD
And woaahh...97 characters? This is going to be quite a challenge, but I'm definitely looking forward to your results. =]

Aww, she's cute. biggrin Nicely done. It looks digital, do you draw with a tablet or did you scan in a pencil drawing and add colors? :]

I'm still learning how to use it, and I can't wait until I learn how to properly use colors in my drawing class whee

That's awesome. smile Yeah, the classes will be really helpful. I can't wait until I'm back in school learning new techniques. xD
What kind of tablet do you have?

I've used it probably a couple other times. I've only had it since November. That, and school unfortunately takes precedence over having fun playing with a tablet sweatdrop

Wow, that's cool. biggrin I have a wacom Graphire 4, I've had it for almost two years now actually. Its awesome. :]
But yeah, not having time would definitely be a big factor in how much you get to use it. >.>; I hope you get to play around with it more in the future, digital media is pretty cool.

Well, I've finally finished going through all four versions of Watership Down. Overall, there's more than 130 characters that actually have names in the stories. This project is definitely not going to be done anytime soon xd
