You know you picked a theme song for your character.
Name it.
For Karu.... Oh boy, there are many. Haunted for when he's being creepy, My Immortal for when he's angsting about mommy, I've imagined several fight themes, my favorite thus far is the Black Mages version of J-E-N-O-V-A. For his eventual dramatic death scene I picked Passion (Instrumental Version).
The AMV of that would feature So Much for my Happy Ending.
For Yamanaki... What Have You Done by Within Temptation.
Genki... and I've considered this but I've decided it is definitely We Will Rock You.
Midori... Master of Puppets by Metallica. The lyrics have nothing to do with him, but it's funny.
Ultima, and I considered this very carefully, is without a doubt Poor Unfortunate Souls (the Jonas Brothers version). Seriously.
If you want something more dramatic and 'final-bossy' take Destati.
Kouryuu as my second favorite in-the-past character and as the legend he is, Kouryou definitely needed something heroic and dramatic. I pick Maybe I'm a Lion (Black Mage Mix) when he was actually doing the hero thing, With Arms Wide Open by Creed for the sweeter times (mainly Karu's birth)
Kiana- Let it Be. It's such a beautiful song and I could see it being a Lullaby.
Also, I was browsing Youtube and came across some old Final Fantasy X clips and Suteki Da Ne is DEFINITELY their new love theme.
Amano- Body Bag by Hit the Lights
And as for my new characters...
Gotoku - Somebody's Watching Me by Rockwell.
Really, just lol. Or maybe Cold as Ice.
Sansai - Room of Angel, from the Silent Hill 4 soundtrack. Cold, chilling, and it has lots of lines like 'It was always you that I despised' and 'I don't feel enough for you to cry'. In short, it's prfect for him.
Arashi - Rain from Cowboy Bebop
No explanation needed.
The Twins - The Two of Us XD
Itami - Why is the rum gone? (Remix)
I couldn't find any drinking songs. This is just as good.

Oh...Oh God...
Suzuya...Oh, he's got a whole playlist. "Superstar" for when he's acting like an arrogant butt, like when he's around Yuuma. "Chop Suey", for angsting over killing Akarui. Oh, and his battle theme will be "Writhe In Pain". They used the opening of the song to open when you fight in Paris, and the piano opening is so chilling yet beautiful...fits a man such as him. And come on, the name fits as well >>;;
And "Relax (Don't do it)" for...obvious reasons. XD
And Suzuko's is "Sweet Transvestite" from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. 8D
Tsubasa...Oh, I would say "Simple Life" from Guilty Gear XX.
Kohaku- "A Solitude That Asks For Nothing In Return" or "Still In The Dark". Both from Guilty Gear X. They're only instrumental, no singing, as with any Guilty Gear song, but the gutair is nice in both and they tell a story all on it's own. And the titles fit...uh...>>;;;;

I would think that Karu would be more of a "Slither" by Velvet Revolver kind of guy. If you're looking for inspiration for a song for Itami, look into Dropkick Murphys.
Honestly, That was the inspiration for Mako, but I don't think it would apply now. I guess Cliffs of Dover is a fairly good description when he's peaceful.

Well... for Ame, I gotta say I usually think of Unwritten by Natasha Bedingfield...
And as for Satiça... umm... Weapon of Choice by Fatboy? haha I really have no idea. Something profoundly feudal. With that stringed instrument they play.
