Im currently doodling with the idea of Rejoining FF-O but Im not sure if its worth it in the long run.
The Good:
Im more mature now compared to the last time I was playing, I understand the "ways" of the MMO's better.
The game is pretty fun..
Fishing use to be so fun! hahaha! (I miss that the most)
The Bad:
Leveling was a b***h since you had to party alot to be gaining good xp and Im a bit of a loner when it comes go games, unless I have friends I can count on playing to.
I dont know anyone that plays it in real life.
My attention span is limited
I have 5 Games on the "to beat" list for my xbox360
Im currently playing Eve Online, and that consumes a bit of time.
Paying for another MMO is gona be a bother, but nothing the Wallet cant handle (since I do have a job that doesn't take much game time away)
I'd have to buy the game again and get a new account cuz I dont have the all the cd's I think I lost 1-2 of them (dummy) and of course I dont remember my user/pass/email

So I have a few more downsides but still I want to play it..
Hmm.... any ideas? more Pro's Con's current / ex players want to point out? smile

And another question, I've noticed quite a few expansions that have been released for FF-o, and I was wondering if I had to buy them all to start playing.... thats a few hundred bucks on the wallet =/

Vallzi And another question, I've noticed quite a few expansions that have been released for FF-o, and I was wondering if I had to buy them all to start playing.... thats a few hundred bucks on the wallet =/ i dont think you need all the expansions. i didnt have chains of promathia for a while. only difference is when you try to enter an expansion area you get sent back to the area you tried entering from.

Ahh I see, well Im playing now, and I so forgot how hard it is to solo play in this game =/ sucks now knowing anyone thats playing.. but aww well, fishing for the way <3

The only real thing I loved about the game... The fact that I could hook my PS2 controller to my PC and just play the game. I didn't have to worry about typing or anything save to join a group.
It plays just like any other final fantasy's too. I was a healer and with the controller healing was a breeze.
Thing Is I'd rather just jump on to my PS2 and play FFXII for a bit it has much better gameplay and not to mention free to play as much as I want hehe. (Since I still haven't beat it I don't think i should be buying any more subscriptions to games)

**eyes the date of the post** Yeah, I know this area may be very well dead, but if anyone is looking to pick the game up and wants all the expansions along with the original they released FFXI Vana'diel Collection 2008 for around $20.
