Hi, everybody. Lately, I've been recording a lot of demos, so I thought I would post a few links and lyrics here. I get kind of lazy mixing everything and stuff, and plus I'm just not so good at mixing, so sorry about that, but if you still want to listen, there are links available. Peace/Love, Andy.
"Prelude to an Evening Sky"
http://andylennononojones.fileave.com/preludetoaneveningsky.mp3
Well, I would if I could fall into the stars, and I would if I could rest inside your arms. Well, I'd find the words to say, they'd flow like strands of DNA, but I left them in the backseat of your car.
Would you love me if I met another girl? Would you love me if my thoughts were just a swirl? Would you love me if I cried; would you love me if I died? For I think I'm about to leave this world.
Well, I saw the silhouettes beneath your eyes, and I noticed that you were about to cry. Well, I cannot say to you, for I don't know if it is true, but I think you'd better weep before you die.
And I know that all of you think I am glass, that I'll crumble with each insult that you pass. Well, I don't know what to say; it doesn't matter anyway, but glass can even shatter on the grass.
Well, I would if I could fall into the stars, and I would if I could rest inside your arms. Well, I'd find the words to say, they'd flow like strands of DNA, but I left them in the backseat of your car.
"City Eyes"
http://andylennononojones.fileave.com/cityeyes.mp3
Shiny as the neon lights That rise beneath the fire and ash and ice As I kiss your eyes and can no longer bear to need you Wounded as the city skies And fire hydrants by the city lights As I convalesce the sky And the sleet, it drops in time
It's time for this city to die To glow with its pain Now, it's time for this city to die I'll watch it rise in flames
Spinning like a tire throe I love you more than words could ever know But my heart, I guess it glows as I murder myself in the (snow) (Snow)y stars and tire rims That line the streets like pretty Christmas trim And I've led a life of sin I'm bigger than this town I'm in
It's time for this city to die To glow with its pain Now, it's time for this city to die I'll watch it rise in flames
"Goodbye, Goodbye (Oh Yeah!)"
http://andylennononojones.fileave.com/goodbyegoodbye(ohyeah).mp3
Wanna feel, wanna feel close to you, baby Wanna feel, wanna feel close to you now Wanna feel, wanna feel close to you, baby If you will just let me know how
Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!
Wanna feel, wanna feel close to you, baby Wanna feel, wanna feel close to your mind Wanna feel, wanna feel, won't you let me in now, baby And won't you open up your mind
Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah! Oh yeah!
Oh yeah! It's the stars, or the sparkle in your eyes Oh yeah! It's the wind, or the way you get me by Oh yeah! It's the blood that's muddled in your hair Oh yeah! It's the end, the end is coming near!
Goodbye, goodbye!
Oh yeah! It's the sun, or the way you wear your hair Oh yeah! It's the moon, or the way you hold me near Oh yeah! It's the blood that's dripping from your eyes Oh, yeah! It's the end, it's time for our demise!
Goodbye, goodbye!

meh, you're alright, don't really care for your voice though, your melody is a little simpler than my preference but keep in mind i am a picky s.o.b. with music, you definitely have talent, the sound just doesn't match up with my taste is all

Well, I've grown more self-aware as of late about my own weaknesses and strengths, so I tend to be able to tell by reaction when people don't like something as a matter of taste or if there is a problem I need to work on (or when people are being ignorant), so no hard feelings concerning that.
I can't change me voice, lol. I do need to do work on my singing, always need to, and could probably benefit from some vocal lessons. As far as melody is concerned, they are typically fairly simplistic, it's true, and I understand some people aren't into simple melodies, but somehow I can't escape it, emotionally I mean.
Thanks for the comments, I appreciate you listening and speaking truthfully, even if it isn't praise.
