This is where you can send letters and packages to your friends and family or even say hi to your owl.

Trista walked all the way up to the Owlery from the lake, where she had written her weekly letter. She searched around the tower and found Esme, her raven, perched on a plank not too far away. Though Esme wasn't an owl, she did enjoy the treats made for them, so Trista pulled one out of her pocket and fed the bird one. She took her letters out of her bag and gently tied them around Esme's leg, being careful to not tie them too tight. "Take these back home, girl." Trista ordered Esme while stroking her breast. She let go then and watched Esme leave her post and fly off into the sky towards the lake, as she disappeared from view. Trista decided that she'd like to just stay there for a while; it was quite peaceful in the Owlery, despite the noises of the birds.

Crash! Ryu flew through the window of the Owlrey and landed on the floor. He got up quikly and pointed his wand at the window. "Reparo!" he muttered, and the window repaired itself. Only when he picked up his broom did he realize someone else was there. He stopped dead and turned to look at the person. It turned out to be a student. "Oh. Sorry about that." he said, going red in the face.

Trista turned with a jolt at the sound of the crash. "Oh!" She shrieked a little when it happened, but saw it was Ryu. "Oh no, it's no problem at all," She chuckled a little. "Having problems?"

Professor Pridemore ran into the room panting heavily "Is everyone ok!?" He looked around and saw that everyone seemed to be alright and felt very foolish.

"I'm fine. I just need to get down to Hogsmede again to see if I can get my broom fixed before Quidditch tryouts. It's been jerky ever since last year when two bludgers hit it at the same time from the opposite sides." Ryu stared at his Firebolt.

Laurel climbed the steps to the Owlery, skipping every other one. It was chilly outside and she wanted to send out her letter as fast as possible. Upon entering the Owlery, she saw Ryu and Trista. "Hey guys," she greeted. Laurie then saw Ryu's broom. "Were you planning on delivering a letter yourself?" she said jokingly.

Trista chuckled at Laurel's comment about Ryu when she entered the owlery. "Hey there Laurie."

Laurel smiled at Ryu's hint of sarcasm. "Sounds like a lot of fun," she commented. "Sending a letter to home, Trista?" Laurie then proceeded to attach a letter to an owl. "Send that to Jude Williams please?" The owl promptly flew away into the distance.

Trista laughed at the brief exchange of words between Ryu and Laurel. "Yup," She answered Laurel.

"Yeah, wait till I get the new Lightningbolt. I'll be crashing through one tower and out the other side." he laughed.
