But all in all, it was pleasant. Even more so that everything was going well, the prides were getting along as per usual fashion, occasional scuffles and territorial disputes breaking out now and then, but overall peaceful. A rumble broke out in his chest, something close to a contented purr. Though, it got a bit lonely at times, he had to say. He hadn't really encountered many others as of late. Normal lions he didn't associate with quite so much, and the other gods and goddesses like himself were scarce as well. But no matter, at least he could enjoy this moment.

Musica flew very low to the ground. The goddess was quite happy tonight, she had came down to the heaven's not to long ago wanting to see these lands first hand, and she enjoyed it. She flicked her tail as she slowly begain to land, her feet lightly touched the ground as she with drew her short wings, they were just enough to hold her weight.
As she walked her markings shimmered, she looked up at the stars and started walking, somthing caught her eye. A Whiteish lion walked the lands, he had large equipment on his back, things like that... ment one thing, he had to have been another God.
"Hello?"
Her silky voice purred out as she barly even opened her mouth. She flicked her ears and watched him for a momment

There was subtle movement towards the side, but as no distinct shape made itself present he assumed it was some small animal, or simply the grasses moving with the wind. Because of this, it took him by surprise somewhat as a soft voice reached his ears, and he looked up, distracted from his musings. It took a moment for his eyes to focus properly, partially due to the fact that the female before him blended so completely into the night sky that at first it was hard to tell she was a separate entity. But in due time, her shape took form, and he noticed small wings on her back and a black ribbion wrapped around her tail, which was a paler colour than the rest of her. She was obviously like him, a goddess in her own right, for no natural lions held wings.
He padded softly towards her, stopping a few feet away. "Hello there. I am sorry, I nearly didn't see you there, your pelt matches the sky so completely. I am Athanase. It is a pleasure to meet you." He remarked with a polite dip of his head.

"It's ok my brother it is a common mistake." She smiled and flicked her tail moving a bit closer. "It is nice to meet you Athanase, my name is Musica." She gave a bow before looking back up at him. He also har star markings, not as she did however. "I am the Goddess of the night sky." She smiled lightly as she flicked her wings a bit.
"What brings you around here at this time?"
She asked looking around not many others were awake this time of night, he was the first she ever saw.

He chuckled softly. Yes, he could see how that could be a common mistake with her, after all her form was difficult to separate, and unless she moved, she nearly blended with the sky. "It's a pleasure Musica. I am the god of time." He could have probably guessed her element, what with her colouring. It was quite a nice affinity, he decided, the night sky was a very beautiful thing, and to watch over it surely must be wonderful.
He cocked his head slightly as he considered her question. There were many things that brought him out here, but not all were quite so easy to put into words. He thought a moment more, and tried to answer as truthfully as possible. "Hmm. To be perfectly honest sometimes I'm not quite sure, but I've always found the night most peaceful, and I enjoy watching the stars. I think, when one has unlimited time on one's paws, it is nice once and a while to be aware of that which surpasses ourselves. Quite often what seems lifetimes for other creatures passes by in the blink of an eye for me. But the stars are so much more permanent, it is nice to see them stay the same, as I do." He smiled apologetically, hoping his explaination hadn't bored her. "And what of you? What brings you down from the sky?" For he had noticed her wings, and thought surely she must spend much of her time in the dark sky.

Musica listioned to his words closly, she was a good listion. She licked her lips for a moment and thought about his question. "The great Zahina told me that I should spent some more of my time down here. So here I am." She smiled and paused for a moment as she shuffled her feet.
"I very much like the night more," She laughed, "I guess it might be my domain but it just cooler and it just is over all a nicer time, not many other lions are out to be dropping at the ground that I walk." She let out just a small sigh.

He considered her answer a moment and then chuckled. Zahina said so? Well, he supposed that was as good a reason as any, after all Zahina's words wer always obeyed by the gods and goddesses, who acted as her heralds in the earthly world. She had suggested he stay constant more, get a feel of how time flowed here, how seconds flowed to minutes, which flowed to hours, and days and months and years. So he had, and it was...interesting. A change certainly, from his previous wanderings throughout the bendable fabric of time and space.
He had to laugh at her next comment as well, mostly because it rang so true. Not only was the night beautiful and calm, common lions mostly slept through it, which was usually nice when one wanted to at least pretend to behave as a regular lion would. During the day...well it wasn't very common for lions to encounter the gods and goddesses, so when they did, their reactions were always interesting, though one tired of it quickly. "I would have to agree with you on that point. Once they get one look at you, they never can just behave normally can they? Can't really just have a regular conversation," he mused, reflecting on his encounters. Yes, he thought it was fair to say he preferred the company of those like himself, those that didn't tend to..oggle at him all the time.

Musica couldn't help but to laugh, he knew also what it was like for others to drop at their feet as if their life depended on this greeting they used. Was it nessacary to bow at others that were supposedly stronger that you.
"I mean yes we are powerful... but it is no reason to act like that for a god or goddess. I belive we are just like eeryone else."
She nodded and smiled thinking about all the diffrent times she was bowwed to, to many to count for sure, she loved the cocky ones that would just scoff and go off the other way. "So what is it like being the God of Time?" She asked with a slight laugh, flicking her tail behind her.

Just like everyone else? Yes, he supposed he too felt that way. Not quite like everyone else, for their abilities and gifts ranged far above those of common lions, however his heart and mind were still the same, and though timeless, he was not Zahina. He was still himself, regardless of what he did in for and in Zahina's name.
"What's it like?" Athanase thought about it. Usually, he didn't really stop to consider exactly what it was, he simply existed within it, and so there was no real need to him to be able to explain it. But now that someone was asking, he wanted to be able to give an accurate answer. "Well...for most lions, time is something constant, something stable that moves constantly forward. For me, time is a little more...flexible. It ripples in folds, and I have, I suppose you could say the ability to see through, or walk through time, observing all manners of things. Mostly it involves the past of course, my role is mainly to keep those in the present from repeating the mistakes I have seen in the past. If I tried, I could probably see a glimpse of the future, but it's hardly worth it really, as every single decision, no matter how big or small, effects the way the future will unfold. It is much to unpredictable to be at all reliable. And what about you? How is it to be the Goddess of the Night sky?"

Musica smiled. "That sounds quite interesting Atanase." She nodded and sat up slightly. "Its not bad."
She pondered having the same problem as Athanase, coming up with a explained. She flipped her hair out of her eyes. "I can fly." She laughed that was quite obvious, she flicked her wings a bit. "I can hear the stars... talk I guess you can say, each with their own flicker they each tell their own story, yet I am still a young goddess, not sure of myself or 'powers'" She nodded lightly.
