You are in a small nameless village in the middle of a large grassland. There is a major city somewhere to your south and another somewhere to your north, however you never really paid attention enough to learn what their names are.

Far to the north you can see the great wall as always. You do not know how far it is, nor how big, but you do know that it stretches from the east to the west, and travelers from the south claim that they can always see it as well.

Far to the south you can also see the tip of the great mountain. You have heard that the wall and the mountain make the northern and southern borders for the continent that you live on, however having two things so big that you can always see them is a little unbelievable. Though if it is true, then the mountain that still looks of decent size, would be thousands of miles away, and even the wall would be hundreds.

You can see frost on the grass and there is a chill in the air as the sun has not gotten high enough in the sky yet to warm the earth. It is nearing the middle of the season of lightning but the western sky is clear for now so perhaps today will be a storm less one. The ground is still wet from the last and from most of the snow that has already passed from the season on ice. (early spring, late winter.)

Men and children are wandering about taking care of morning chores while the women of hte village are preparing the morning meal. The village seems to be about 20-25 houses which would mean 20-25 families and their are some barns for cattle and other livestock to support those families.

Some of the grassland around the village has been turned into feilds and even though it is a small amount of the total land around them. The feilds are large and go for a ways in all directions. Most of the fields this time of year are just opening up, so the villagers would just be starting the prep-work, probably some time after the morning meal.

There does not seem to be a centralized leader, and so the village is probly lead by the elders as a whole.

The road through the center of the village is a bit muddy from the rain and melting snow during this season, and the village has one tavern that doubles as a pub and inn.

She nodded, "But we have to be careful....can't be to hasty like last time..."

Shanna waved back. She was surprized they weren't running from them. She was hoping it would have been an elven village. "Where do you we think we should go first Anii?" SHe asked.

The villagers at large continue to ignore the two elves as they go about their business.

An pauses and watches everyone that goes by them, "Can't be to sure...they could easily be faking it"

"I'm taking that he's the town elder." Shanna says and points at him. "Let's go see what village we are in."

The old man continues sitting in the chair gazing at the clouds as if he had not heard Anii. So far he has not glanced away from the sky, so he has not seen either her or Shanna.
