Who do you prefer to be the seme and the uke? In case anyone doesn't know, seme is the guy whose on top, and uke is the one who plays the part of the girl, if ya know what I mean.

I think they'd more take turns. However, I love seeing Neji as the uke, despite the fact that Shikamaru's personality makes him seem more uke-ish.

I agree completely Sanee.
Neji makes a great, and very hot uke in my opinion.
Shika does seem more Ukeish though D=
Mostly cause he's lazy, but Neji has a tendency to want dominance.
I doubt Shika's gonna fight him over it.

It's funny, but I agree too.
I don't really have any other support for liking Neji on bottom other than the fact that he's so damn pretty -.- and it would be nice to see his pride get put aside for the man he loves ~swoon~
Still though, I see them as equals more-so than a dominant-submissive couple. Another reason why I love them so much, though, they're not 'standard'.

I myself prefer Neji to be uke, but that's just cuz he's SO damn pretty, and I have a horrible fetish for pretty bishies in girl kimonos. It makes me fangasm.
I think, personality wise, Neji would be the one to dominate in a relationship, but I just love seeing him get topped cuz of his pride.
Then again, he could always be a dominate uke. He'd definately be calling the shots in the relationship, simply cuz Shika's too lazy to argue.
I can just picture them shopping at the mall (okay, so neither would really want to, but this is fangirl fantasy land, so go with it). I can SOO see Neji bitching and Shika to hurry up, and poor Shika's got all Neji's bags and is complaining until Neji grabs him by the ear and yanks him along....

Meh, I persoanlly prefer my bishies to wear guys' clothes, and look like guys. Maybe have a bit of stubble on the chin? (Only if it works for them, like Ryoji Kaji from Neon Genesis Evangelion. -drool-)
However, earrings are a turn on, but only if they aren't "girl" earrings.
(Shika's earrings pre-timeskip = YES. I want a pair for myself.)
I mean, I was a bit shocked to find that I found Neji attractive, since he has long hair. (I thought long hair of guys was too "girly".) But, his hair actually doesn't look too femenine, compared to some hair I've seen on males. Dx

It's not the hair that makes guys appear feminine in anime. It's their face- they've got such...girlish faces. And the goddamn eyelashes! ugh! It's made me look at soo many people in different anime and go 'wut?' and it's not until someone refers to them that I understand that it's a boy/girl. I mean, I've heard non-anime obsessed people call Neji a girl, but his face looks pretty masculine(no to mention he quite obviously has a flat chest that I wanna see more of His clothing doesn't leave room for hidden breasts. XD)
Ahem.
Which is why I don't mind seeing Neji in a kimono. I can still tell he's a guy, so it's fine. And he looks so damn pretty in one too! Neji's pretty. I'll admit that. I know he is. I don't care. But he's pretty as in guy-pretty, not like Haku who is/was 'girl-pretty', if anyone understands what I mean. XD
But I agree with Hyuuga that Neji would be awesome dominated. I love just imagining it even. *has imagined Neji being thrown against a tree many, many times* Give him and his pride something else to think about. >=D

Yeah, I agree, Neji is guy-pretty. He's still pretty, though, and in my mind, therefore can go in a kimono. (Hehe, as you can tell, I'm very obsessed with the idea and my mind just won't let go of it very easily, so I don't even bother trying to fight it). Haku was/is girl-pretty, and I lurve him, too.
Except, when I first saw him, I thought he was an actual girl. I mean, he wore a dress! A flippin dress! ...well, okay, so it was a yukata...still...a girl's yukata. And it was pink! So...hehe...Haku's a character that's right up my alley (so of course he'd have to get killed off. grrr...)
But I agree, Shika's totally handsome. I wouldn't call him pretty. He's more..all man. And for some strange reason, even though their personalities are totally different, he reminds me of Sokka from Avatar.
