I will be using:
Clear mascara/black mascara
Black eyeliner
2 complementary colours of eyeshadow
Face powder (and blush if you want to)
Lipstick/lipgloss
Clear lipgloss
1. Clean your face. If you have a dirty face, no amount of coverup is going to help.
2. Prepare your face with the face powder. I put it on my cheeks, nose (because I have a pain of a spot there) and around my eyes. Add blush aswell if you want.
3. I do my eyes first, but you can do it in whatever order you want. I do eyeshadow first, because it won't get everywhere with mascara and eyeliner. I find, that instead of using the applicator, use your index finger. You get a clearer colour and that's essential if you're using a bright colour for decora. Experiment! I normally do one lid one colour and the other another. BUT! Always use complementary colours. That's colours that go well together. If you don't, well people won't like you because you'll burn their eyes out. burning_eyes
4. Now for your mascara! I use clear because I get black everywhere, but if you know how to do it without going everywhere it's fine to use that. Always apply in an upward motion, never downward. Watch adverts/commercials, you'l see what I mean. Also I've found this trick; if you want lashes that you didn't cover to be applied, use the end of the applicator. If you know how to apply eyeliner, use that aswell.
5. Now your lips! I usually use lipstick because I get too tempted to eat the lipgloss. If you don't, skip this step. Apply it, but make sure you do everywhere. This can be done by blowing out your lips to see. Use the edges to get in the corners. For a shiny effect, use clear lipgloss on top of it. If you eat, don't panic! You can always reapply it afterwards.
