Okay, I have to admit, I am not the fondest of Sakura - before Shippuden, that is. She does get annoying and winey, but it's all because she is obsessing over Sasuke. I think that when she decides to become Lady Tsunade's apprentice, she changes, and realizes that she needs to embrace her strength and all of her knowledge.
So when Shippuden starts, she's like a whole new person! She's not all "I'm pathetic," and she doesn't completely obsess over Sasuke. And I really just don't get how people hate her! So, if you Sakura Bashers would explain your reasoning - nicely - and you Sakura Likers (I guess. . . ?) would explain why you like Sakura, that would make me all happy inside. xp

I'm not fond of Sakura now either. I don't hate her like I did before, but she's still pretty much rude to Naruto and has a mostly one-tracked mind about Sasuke. She's getting better, but I still don't really like her all that much. *sigh*

I..I dunno. I don't really have anything against Sakura -.- I mean yeah, she's damn annoying sometimes and obsessed with the guy she likes, but a lot of females in anime are like that anyway.
I don't really have an opinion of her one way or the other -.- but as far as that goes I prefer her in shippuden.
Still..though....god her fight with Sasori lasted way too damn long and got on my nerves. >> I hated her right then.

I'm sort of neutral toward Sakura. I used to not like her, but she's actually pretty okay in Shippuuden.
One thing that will make me like her a lot is if she decides to give Lee a chance. It would mean that she's stopped fangirling over Sasuke.(Plus, it'd be really cute.)
Same with Ino. If she'd give Chouji a chance, I'd like her. (I'm an underdog-supporter, what can I say?)

In general, I tend to be very intolerant of females in anime, which is why shojo manga/anime just makes me cringe in horror. As a yaoi fan, I'm naturally attracted to the guy characters first- and the guy characters are usually the strongest. The girls...not so much. Sometimes I'll like the occasionall female character, but for the most part I'm indifferent.
When it comes to Sakura...pre-Shippuden, she's annoying. All she does is whine and obsess over Sasuke- which alot of female anime characters do over their crush. It gets on my nerves. I always saw her as just useless baggage to the team. As the anime/manga progressed, I pretty much just ignored her- still didn't like her, but too lazy to outright hate her.
She never was as strong as Sasuke or Naruto. Both of them had new jutsus and were improving- Sasuke got Chidori, Naruto Rasengan. Sakura? Nothing.
I haven't seen all of Shippuden yet, but so far Sakura's shown improvement. I still reserve judgement, but she is not as annoying as she used to be. (not that that's saying much lol!)

Well for all those that dislike her pre-shippuuden the same could be said in reference to sasuke, but I am not the time to sidetrack due to my ultimate hatred of the guy. I love Sakura all around, its funny that everyone says she sucks and has never been a very good ninj that may be said mostly pre-chunnin exam. A little bit before and mostly after she is completely different, though her love for sasuke never diminshes, she begans to build a brotherly feel for Naruto as for after she stays very simmilar, and then Sasuke leaves and BAM she relies on him to get her man back, because she finnally recognizes that Sasuke talks with his fists and so does Naruto.
Even though Naruto fails, she still cares deeply for both parties. Her entire time is spent searching for any tid bit of information on Sasuke, and while you think ohh she is going to abandon Naruto on her search SHE DOESN'T, she understands that she isn't the only one who wants Sasuke back. After screwing up her on chance to get Sasuke back and after interacting with Orochimaru for the second time SHE transforms, quite like a caterpilar rising from its cacoon and spreading its wings for the first time. She seeks to better herself and she befriends Narutop even more. THAT IS ALL BEFORE SHIPPUUDEN!!! The shippuuden version she is so lovable, I love Sakura pruely because she transforms through out the entire series, even Neji does't go the the same extreme as she does. The only person who changes quite like Sakura is Gaara. SHE IS ONE OF MY FAVORITE CHARACTERS, and there are is the reasons why. If you don't agree that is okay, because you are freely given the right to think what you will.

What the hell?! I can not respect somebody like that. *claps her hands* You said it, and I completely agree! As the old saying goes, 'Boys come and go, but friends are forever'. And yet...Sakura and Ino throw away a friendship over a stupid boy who doesn't even care about them? That's not placing very much importance on their friendship...and who would want someone like that as a friend, anyway? But in Shippuden she's a bit more tolerable...but not by much.

What the hell?! I can not respect somebody like that. I actually can't hate her much (in fact I love her character quite a bit). I understand that if she didn't end her friendship she would only invite greater heart break. When I promised myself that I would stay away from relationships (been good for for almost three years now) There was this girl I loved deeply, I admired her and respected her, however a friend of mine decided he loved her to and he sandbagged me on several occasions trying to keep me away from her. It ruined our friendship so thoroughly that we had a fist fight (twice, one putting me in the hospital) to say the least he won her affection, you know how long there dating lasted lose to a month. The moral of the story is that if I had done what sakura did I doubt the pain of his betrayal wouldn't have hurt me. We probably would have still got into the fist fights but it wouldn't have hurt me as much if we had called it off. What saddens me so much is like Sakura We both still remember the person we love and we still LOVE THEM!!! I would trade my friendships for her in its entirety for her (ofcourse it can't happen now). You can hate me for that but when YOU love someone more then anything else you will sacrifice EVERYTHING for them. If you love that friend you will keep the heartbreak as small possible, or you can do what I did and trust a friend long enough to have that frienship thrusted back in your face. Besides the story, I love her emotional maturity it is hard to keep something you are passionate about in you head as she has done on many cases, when she wants to beat the crap out of Naruto she does it in her head and then brow beats him (the man isn't the sharpest tool in the shed anyway, really the browbeating should point him in the right direction). Shippuuden she rocks DA house, she be dynamite. I liked her in the beginning and LOVE her in shippuuden. Its not every day I have that kind of reaction to a character.

I've never hated her, but I liked her a lot more after the time skip. Ino annoyed me for a while until there was the episode of their past. Though, I think the one that annoys me the most is Hinata. Everyone loves her and I don't know why. I think it is because she is so nervous all the time. It makes me unpleasant. Though it may only be the English voice. I'm pretty sure I didn't mind the Japanese dubbing.
