yesterday sweety_honey and a co-worker was hit by another car as she was coming out of a gas station. her friend is ok but she broke a rib and is still in the hospital getting rest and enjoying the morphine. our car is totalled and i had to go clean out our stuff this morning before its taken to the junkyard. luckily my insurance is paying off the rest of the car payments but now we're gonna have to find another car with no money for a down payment. the car was hit so hard that it turned the car completely around, onto the sidewalk and part way up the little hill bank. if she had been a few feet further into the road, she would have been hit instead of where the driver side wheel is located and who knows what would have happened to her. i didnt even know what happened until i got to the sceen. im still having a hard time keeping myself together to get everything done that needs to be done. everything is just a haze right now. once i get internet at home, ill upload a picture of the wreck. plz pray for her and a speedy recovery since i know shes gonna be in a lot of pain forquite a while.

doctors tell you to take time off to heal, but they don't realise that regular people don't make $200,000 a year... I will send some healing energies your way!!

Gort Klaatu barada nikto doctors tell you to take time off to heal, but they don't realise that regular people don't make $200,000 a year... I will send some healing energies your way!! Doesn't the insurance cover loss of earnings when you are sick? With us having the NHS and statutory sick pay, if I were ill for 3 weeks then we'd still get some cash from my national insurance contributions through statutory sick pay. I know you don't have that in the states, but thought your insurance covered loss of earnings too? when I worked in the private sector, the company I worked for, provided health insurance and if I were ill, they would pay me money for being off work as well as the treatment I received so does that apply in the states too?

Wow she was very luckey. My husband was a passenger in a vehical in a head on colision 12 1/2 years ago and almost didn't make it. He had internal bleading a shatered check bone that he still has sergical steel in. He had to have a medal plate in his left arm and a broken right arm, a broken pelvise stitches in his face and a broken right leg. He had to have surgery 3 times and one surgery they had to take out a piece of bone in his hip and put into his pelvise. So he was bed ridden with a cast on each arm and one on his leg for six months which drove him crazy the doctors told him he may not walk again but he wasn't having that and after 8 months he was walking with a can and by 9 months he was walking without the cane.. It was one of the scariest times of my life and he was saved by wairring his seat belt. The truck they where in was completley totaled. The guy driving the truck wasn't so lucky he was in a coma for 4 days and has the mantality leval of a 16 year old for the rest of his life because a sand bag came up and hit him in the back of the head. Along with the fact his hip is twisted a little and he has had many surgerys and still uses a cane. When the accident happend the guy driving the truck was going about forty and it was raining out he reached down to grab a cd and swerved a little then grabed hold of a small patch of gravel and went out of conrole next thing you know they where slaming head on into a jeep. I still to this day get a little upset talking about it. They where basicaly saved by the grace of god because they should not have made it out of that accident. Thank god Sweet_Honey and her passenger are alright. It is always a little scarry looking at the vehicle afterwards. I got the shivers when I saw that truck for the first time.
