This place is more sophisticated than Mollie's, but still student-friendly.
The restaurant is full of tables for two, three, and four, as well as benches and long tables around the walls.
Today's Special:
Colcannon
Fried Potato Farls
Irish Stew and Soda Bread
Dublin Bay Prawns
Guinness Lite (0% alcohol)

Java walked in, feeling slightly uneasy. This was a very posh place, despite having a huge sign on the door saying 'Students Welcome here'.
He walked up to the bar, the restaurant was empty and there were just a few people at the bar.
"Excuse me..." he said, to the pretty barmaid. She turned round and looked him up and down.
"I don't care what your fake id says, you're not old enough to drink."
"Um, no... I was wondering if you do special meals? Like, say I wanted the chef to cook some Irish food?"
She laughed. "We get that more often than you think. £2 charge per person, plus the food. I hope you've been saving up."
"Oh, um. Well, can you cook this for about 7pm tomorrow?" he put a list of some Irish food he'd found that he thought Tess might like.
"Sure thing." she turned away and went back to work.
"See you tomorrow Java."

Java walked in, hoping Tess would like it.
"I have a reservation, I booked a meal yesterday." He said, to the maitre d', who gestured for Java and Tess to follow him.
He sat at the table and smiled at Tess.
"Your special menu sir, miss." said the waiter, who appeared out of nowhere with a specially printed menu.
"Fancy anything on there?" said Java, grinning.

Tess smiled and sat down. She picked up the menu and looked at it for a second. Then she looked up at Java and smiled big. "Did you do this?" She asked.

Java smiled and said nothing except "What're you gonna order? I think I'll have the colcannon and the potato farls. Or maybe the prawns."

Tess narrowed her eyes and smiled. "You're a sneaky one." She said. "I'm getting the irish stew and soda bread." She tried to keep a stray face but then burst out laughing. "Sorry."

He waved over the barmaid/waitress.
"Irish stew and soda bread for the lovely Tess here, please. And I'll have the colcannon and potato farls."
"Anything to drink, Mr Suresh?"
He glanced at Tess and grinned, glad she was enjopying herself. "We'll have a Guiness each."
"Guiness Lite!" corrected the waitress, before she walked off.

"No problem, it's been fun." he said, as the waitress came with their drinks. "This whole thing... which is not, of course, a date."
He grinned. "Unless you want it to be. I told you I did great dates."

Java's eyes widened and he smiled properly. Then he grinned and blew her a kiss. "Thank you m'lady."
The food arrived, all cooked to standards not normally seen within a 10 mile radius of a school.
"Y'know," said Java, picking up his knife and fork, "The Irish really know how to do the whole 'practical but tasty' thing. And the food's not bad either." He grinned, and tasted his food, which was of course, gorgeous.

"So," he said, toying with his food, "What do you think of Ms. Terry and that 'Henny' guy? Reckon they're still on?"

Layla walked in and sat at a table by herself. She was really only there to listen and observe.
