Here is just a new topic to jump-start the guild, since there weren't any new posts up lately...

When I first saw this concept, it looked wickedly cool and innovative. It's the Fisker Karma, a new plug-in hybrid that is supposed to get 50 miles on its batteries alone. It also has a solar panel roof.

Who said saving the environment couldn't kick a**?

That is awesome!!! But it is rather unfortunate that it is so expensive.

Beh.
The problem with hybrids or electric cars is that they're either completely usless and junk. Or They're like normal cars but with an electric motor and a 12V battery to make enviromentalists happy.

If you want to save the enviroment and do it in style by a new Mercedess desil(sp?)

I'm no girl but I do design autos and that car is sex on wheels, much like the Maserati Gran Turismo, though the A-pillars reach a bit far back for my taste in a luxury sedan with a long bonnet and maybe a devoted arch wasn't the best idea for the roof, I would have liked a very slight angling. The wheels are a little big as well, worn most likely for shock value I'm sure. Overall, a beautiful car with a distinct personality.
