This RP is based off the book of the same name by Dean Koonts. if you want a hisory of this RP, read the book. Sorry there is no movie, it will be good for your imagination. there will be minor differences in the history of course from the book, otherwise the story wouldn't work.

Rules
1. Please folow the ToS, it get real annoying when you don't.
2. No such thing as betrayal! One side cannot betray it own species, though there can be switches in sides, they themselves cannot directly influence the balance.
3. No godmodding. This ties in with rule 2, because most backstabbers are godmodders.
4. No cybering, as simple as that.
5. No trolling, the worst by far, any known troller will be hunted down and kicked out of the RP (please PM me if you are being trolled and are sure of it.)
6. once a human goes pure or regresses, there is no return.

Story:
Ten years following the the Moonlight Cove "incident", a young professor who discovered the late professors MoonHawk project. Being engulfed in his preception of perfecting the human race, professor Arcan Dunsinare perfected the late professor's biosphere chips and restarted MoonHawk and renamed it "The Purity". Any person who went under treatment will heal at a remarkable rate, all small wound heals instantaneously, diseases will never occur. There is a catch, all emotions either become magnified tenfold or become nullified.
There were many people who dislike the Purity, beleive its makes man nothing more than a machine, and declared war against the Pure. The war forced Dunsinare to reactivate SUN, a control hub for the biospheres that made the Pure. he found he could update the spheres and upgrade them as he needed. But by reactivating SUN, he brought another threat back with it.
Back in Moonlight Cove, the mysterious figures that littered the floor were being brought back to life. By reactivating SUN, the Regressives were brought back to life and received the upgrades as well. but they acted upon the will of the Collective, a symbiotic mind that lives only to feed.
As the war went on, The Collective organised itself. It found ways to turn Pure into regressive, and had to organize itself like SUN to get what it needed. and here is where we begin . . .

Character Types:
Human
Humans hate the Pure for giving up their humanity for longevity, but many in their ranks are willing to switch to pure all the same, they have power in numbers and skill. they need it for neither Pure or Regressive can be taken down easily. Many, if not all, humans are marksman. for they must be precise or their life may soon squandered. They also are the most emotional of the races. they can feel the full spectrum of emotions.
The Pure
Arcan Dunsinare's creation, they have no disease, they cannot feel pain, they have no need for sleep. In his eyes, they are deemed perfect, but the catch is they have either have no control over emotions or none at all. When SUN became active they were always within Arcan's reach and receceive daily upgrades to the biosheres to enhance their effectiveness in different ways. all special orders for upgrades must go through SUN.
Regressive
Ressurected from their former glory, these "ghosts" of the past are Masters of speed and hit and runs. They run on need and need alone, all impulse and reactions. The Collective is a symbiotelife form of pure regressive biotech, it has no solid form of speech so it created three representatives for which they have communication with the rest of the Regressives and take the spols of war and striking all that get in their way. they have the ability to change from a humanoid form to a "hunter" state, this is where their power comes from. In either state they must keep enough nutrition for transition which is mostly provided by the Collective, so their appetite becomes normal.
