I noticed a lot of these threads were about watching anime but personally the shows weren't moving fast enough.
I spent a lot of time at OneManga
It has a lot of the more popular anime and if you don't mind reading it is much further along than the shows are, visit it is certainly worth while
Discuss~ Ever notice while reading there are variations were they cut out some stuff when you compare the show to manga form? I know they have used words in the manga I have never heard any of them say on the television. Think they should edit it or just let it ride as it is?

Many of the mangas are nothing like the anime at all. The mangas tend to lean more toward the use of the Japanese terms then the animes as well. Plus the animes are mostly edited by a different company than those who do the mangas, so there will be differences.

Personally, it drives me insane when the story line ends up being completely different in places. I never much notice when they say things out of the ordinary, unless it's a favorite part of mine. Then I end up yelling at my TV or computer. sweatdrop I suppose it's a bit like books being made into movies. The book always gets messed up in some way or other... neutral

Though it's not an anime, Beowulf is a good example. Read the original story, and was disappointed with the movie. Sure, graphics were most awesome, but some of the changes in plot sucked.
